Personal Protection and Ventilation System

A personal protection and ventilation system is provided. The system includes a gown having front and rear panels, a hood, and visor; a fan; an air tube; and a helmet. The fan is positioned between the wearer and a body-facing surface of the rear panel. The front panel and at least a portion of the hood are formed from a first material including a first spunbond layer, a spunbond-meltblown-spunbond laminate, and a liquid impervious elastic film disposed therebetween. The first material has an air volumetric flow rate of less than about 1 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm). The rear panel is formed from a second material including a nonwoven laminate having an air volumetric flow rate of about 20 scfm to about 80 scfm. Therefore, the fan is able to intake a sufficient amount of air from the environment through the rear panel to provide cooling/ventilation to the hood.

Medical Gown

A gown is provided including non-woven fabric having a front portion, a rear portion, said rear portion ending in a lower edge, and a head insertion aperture that is between the front portion and the rear portion. The gown includes an opening in the rear portion; this opening is formed at the lower edge and extends upwards towards the head insertion aperture, and is configured to assist the wearing in donning the gown. There is a bridge extending across the rear portion at least partially between the opening and the head insertion aperture. This bridge is configured to tear and split the rear portion when the front portion is pulled away from the wearer.

The present invention relates generally to methods for the delivery of beneficial respirable compounds such as moisture, anti-inflammation compounds, anti-irritants, fragrances, aromatherapy compounds, and low dose medications slowly and continuously over time using a mask containing a thickened aqueous gel media delivery system combined with, supported by, and coating solid bodies inside the filter. The present invention also relates generally to methods for the removal of harmful industrial gasses from inhaled air using a disposable filtration mask containing a fluid filter media composed of a thickened aqueous gel that can be readily modified by means of additives to enhance its filtration properties for specific gasses individually, or in combination. The fluid filter media is combined with, supported by, and coats solid bodies inside the filter which optimize contact between the fluid filtration gel and the incoming air containing harmful industrial gasses. The present invention also relates generally to methods for the removal of hydrophilic bio-particulates from inhaled air using a disposable filtration mask containing a fluid filter media composed of a thickened aqueous gel that wets the bio-particulates, increasing their effective size and mass, and then retains them using the surface tension and viscosity of the thickened aqueous gel.

A leg wrap garment protector system including a leg wrap having a body including a first-side having a first-fastener, and a second-fastener, and a second-side. The body has a generally rectangular profile having the first-side and the second-side opposing one another and creating a continuous sheet. The first-fastener and the second-fastener are configured on the first-side and oppose one another on opposite ends of the body. The body is configured to encircle about a leg of a user in a cylindrical form. The first-fastener is secured to a garment and the second-fastener secures to the second-side when wrapped around the leg of the user. The leg wrap provides a removeable protective barrier for the garment.

A disposable surgical gown is provided. The gown includes a front panel and sleeves formed from a first spunbond layer, a nonwoven (e.g., SMS) laminate, and a liquid impervious, moisture vapor breathable elastic film disposed therebetween. The gown also includes a first and second rear panels formed from a nonwoven laminate that is air breathable and allows for an air volumetric flow rate ranging from about 20 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) to about 80 scfm. The gown further includes a collar formed from an air breathable knit material positioned adjacent a proximal end of the gown. The collar defines a neck opening having a v-neck shape adjacent the front panel. The v-neck shape forms an angle of greater than 90 at the neck opening. The combination of features results in a reduced-glare gown that is stretchable and impervious to liquids, yet can still dissipate heat and humidity.

PVC DISPOSABLE GLOVE AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF
20190357611 · 2019-11-28 ·

A type of PVC related disposable gloves and the manufacturing process thereof. The process includes: The PVC resin or its mixture is mixed with a plasticizer to form a glove formula mixture. The films of glove material mixture are formed with the said glove formula mixture. Two layers of the said films of glove material mixture are placed in parallel to form the glove material films. An insulation layer is placed on one side of the glove material films, and a beam of electromagnetic waves is applied and distributed along a path of preset contour onto the surface of the glove material films so that the electromagnetic beam penetrates the glove material films and, as a result, the two layers of the glove material films are effectively sealed and joined along the path of preset contour; or thermal heat is applied and distributed along a path of preset contour onto the surface of the glove material films so that the heating temperature is equal to or higher than the critical point of heat sealing temperature of the glove material films and, as a result, the two layers of the glove material films are effectively sealed and joined along the path of preset contour. Pressure is applied on the glove material films along the path of preset contour so that the two layers of the glove material films are fused integrally along the path of preset contour. A cutting edge is applied along the outer path of preset contour, and the inner part of the path of preset contour including the fused part is separated from the glove material films, while an opening at the wrist is cut, so that a piece of the PVC related disposable glove is formed. This manufacturing process of PVC related disposable gloves greatly reduces environmental pollution and has a very high value for protecting the environment.

DISPOSAL DENTAL BIB WITH BUILT-IN SANITARY COLLAR

A dental bib has a built-in sanitary collar that, in one embodiment, is completely detachable from the rest of the bib by tearing along a pre-perforated line between the main portion of the bib and the detachable portion of the bib. The main portion of the bib is secured to the wearer by mechanical means and worn over the chest as a bib, while the detached portion is separately secured to the wearer by mechanical means and worn around the neck as a sanitary collar. The two free ends of the detached portion of the bib can be secured around the neck as a collar with self-adhesive material or clips. Similarly, the main portion of the bib can be secured to the wearer using self-adhesive material or clips. In another embodiment, the sanitary collar is not completely detachable, but is formed by folding a portion of the bib around the neck.
