INCINERATION-FRIENDLY ELASTOMERIC ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
The present invention generally relates to an incineration-friendly wearable article comprising an elastomeric polymer matrix composed of an inorganic material capable of efficiently able to reduce or eliminate flue gas emissions during incineration of the article, and a method of making the incineration-friendly wearable article containing the elastomeric polymer matrix containing the inorganic material. The inorganic material acts as a catalytic thermal oxidative material.
REDUCED ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT TEXTILE PRODUCTS HAVING PEELABLE LAYERS
Provided are protector articles, comprising: a plurality of sheets overlaid one to the next, the plurality of sheets comprising a bottommost sheet, a sheet comprising a comfort face and a barrier face, the comfort face comprising a biodegradable spunlace nonwoven material, the barrier face comprising a water-resistant biodegradable material, and at least one of the plurality of sheets being releasable (e.g., releasably attached) to the article. The articles can be used in bedding, apparel, and furniture.
Safety glove system
The present invention relates to a disposable safety glove system featuring a plurality of layers of inter-nested gloves that are worn simultaneously by a user. The improved disposable glove system of the present invention allows a user to peel away the outermost layer of gloves to reveal a new and sterile set of gloves. The glove system also features a relatively thick wristband to support the plurality of glove layers, a tab that can be used to easily peel off the outermost glove layer once the same has been used and a new pair of gloves is desired, and a numbering system that alerts the user to how many glove layers remain in the glove stack.
Seal for Disposable Gloves
My invention adds a seal to the outside of the wrist area of disposable (plastic, latex, or rubber) gloves. This added feature provides the user with the option to seal and contain unwanted material once the glove is removed from the hand, reducing the possibility of cross contamination and skin exposure while also minimizing odor.
EGESTA DISPOSAL GLOVE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
An egesta disposal glove for hygienically handling and containing human or animal egesta such as contained in a soiled nappy or dog mess. The egesta disposal glove has a glove portion shaped to a user's hand, and a pouch element engaged with the glove portion and having a pouch body. The glove portion has a glove body having a glove opening for enabling a user to insert their hand into the glove body. The glove portion is invertible receivable around the egesta, and the pouch body is receivable around the glove portion. This permits double-bagging to prevent or inhibit leaks and fumes emanating from egesta.
DISPOSABLE PANTS-PROTECTING PAINTER'S CHAPS
Disposable chaps with wiping faces on the thighs. A single mid-thigh strap closer to a contoured crotch cutout than to a lower hem is used for securing the thigh portions of the chaps around the upper legs, and a novel non-absorbent, shape-holding medical barrier material is used to both improve the removal of paint, caulk, etc. from the hands, and also to help conform the unsecured lower end portions and free hems of the thigh portions to the wearer’s pants while working.
GOWN
A garment, particularly a garment useful in a medical setting, comprising a gown that provides an acceptable barrier between a wearer and certain contaminants as well as easy doffing, the gown having a neck opening, two sleeves, a body portion including a front body portion and a back body portion, one or more panels, and/or one or more doffing features.
FACE MASK HAVING REPLACEABLE SANITARY LINER
A disposable sanitary liner for a protecting face mask has a liner base shaped to fit within a face mask, the liner base made from one or more layers of non-woven fabric. A plurality of self adhesive strips and/or tabs is disposed on a surface of the liner base to be oriented away from a face of a user. A layer of wax coated plastic or paper coated plastic is applied to the plurality of self adhesive strips and/or tabs on a surface thereof opposed to the liner base.
PROTECTIVE GOWN WITH COLLAR EXTENSION
A protective gown with collar extension includes a collar extension portion extending upwardly from a neckline of a protective gown to provide securement of the gown to prevent gaping an pull-away from a wearer. In one embodiment, a tie extends from each side of the collar extension to allow securement to a wearer. In another embodiment, the material of the collar extension extends beyond the region of the gown, with the extending ends of the collar extension forming ties to allow securement to a wearer. Other methods of securement are shown and described.
