A gaming system for conducting a wagering game includes an input device, a display device, a processor, and a memory device. The memory device stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the gaming system to receive a wager in response to an input, display a main array of symbol-bearing reels, and to display a plurality of enhanced arrays. The main array includes a plurality of enhanced-array triggers. Each enhanced array includes an enhancement feature and each enhanced array is associated with at least one of the plurality of enhanced-array triggers. The enhanced arrays are spun and evaluated upon display of the associated enhanced-array triggers.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a multi-reel skill-based redemption game. An indication of a user desire to participate in the skill-based redemption game is received. The user's account balance is decreased, and simulated reels are spun. Adjustment arrows are displayed for a subset of the plurality of simulated reels. The player selects a simulated reel and a direction of adjustment for the simulated reel. If the player's adjustment creates a winning pattern, the user is rewarded with an increased account balance. The user may also be provided a bonus amount for achieving a number of consecutive wins.

A gaming machine comprises a reel strip comprising a plurality of trigger symbols, stack symbols, wild symbols and standard symbols, a symbol selector for selecting a plurality of symbols from the reel strip to be displayed on a display during play of a base game, wherein in the base game, said wild symbols substitute for only stack symbols and standard symbols, an outcome evaluator for monitoring play of the game, wherein when a predefined number of trigger symbols is selected for display, a plurality of feature games are triggered, and an interface for receiving a selection of one of the plurality of triggered feature games to play. In response to said selection and before initiating play of the selected feature game, the symbol selector selects a first of the plurality of standard symbols in the reel strip to be stacked such that a plurality of the selected first standard symbols are arranged adjacent each other on the reel strip, and b) a first of the plurality of stack symbols in the reel strip, the plurality of selected first standard symbols being transformed into the selected first stack symbol.
GAMING MACHINE AND METHOD WITH PERSISTENT CATALYST FEATURE
There is provided a gaming system, gaming machine, and method that utilize an electronic display device configured to display a plurality of reels and an array. The plurality of reels bear a plurality of symbols, including standard symbols, a catalyst symbol, and value-bearing symbols. A series of reel spins are conducted where each spin lands symbols from the plurality of symbols in the array. In response to the catalyst symbol being among the landed symbols in a spin, a payout is awarded based any value-bearing symbols among the landed symbols. For each subsequent spin in the series, the catalyst symbol is shifted to an adjacent position in the array, and a payout is awarded based on any value-bearing symbols among the landed symbols until the catalyst symbol shifts off the array.

Certain embodiments involve a system comprising at least one processor; and a memory storing instructions which when executed by the at least one processor cause the at least one processor to: cause a first symbol array to be selected and displayed on at least one display in a display area, the first symbol array including a plurality of selected symbols from each reel of a plurality of reels at respective symbol locations of the display area; add at least one first Wild symbol to the display; cause a second symbol array to be selected and displayed on the at least one display in the display area, the second symbol array including a plurality of selected symbols from each reel at the respective symbol locations of the display area; add at least one second Wild symbol to the display; and move the at least one first Wild symbol relative to the display area.

An electronic gaming device comprises a credit input device; a display; an input device operable to receive player input and a processor. The display displays a plurality of symbols selected for display, and one or both of a first trigger symbol and a second trigger symbol as part of the plurality of symbols selected for display. After displaying one or both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol, the processor animates collecting one or both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol. After displaying both of the first trigger symbol and the second trigger symbol are collected, the processor initiates a first composite feature game incorporating at least one characteristic of each of a first feature game and a second feature game.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A FEATURE GAME WITH MULTIPLE GAME INSTANCES
A gaming machine provides a base game, from which a hold and spin feature game is triggered when a determined number of configurable symbols are displayed in a base game outcome. When the feature game is triggered, the configurable symbols are held in place on the display and the player is provided one or more spins during the feature game in which to collect additional configurable symbols. Any additional configurable symbols are retained on the display during subsequent spins until the feature game is completed. At the end of the feature game, the player is awarded a prize based on the values carried by the configurable symbols. An ante bet entitles to player to additional game instances in the hold and spin feature game. The additional game instances duplicate the configurable symbols that trigger the feature game, but are played independently from one another during the hold and spin feature.
