ELECTRONIC ANTI-TAMPER DEVICE
This invention relates to an anti-tamper assembly for a circuit board comprising one or more electronic components, the assembly comprising: a container having side walls, a first, closed end and a second, opposing, open end, the container being configured to be mounted on said circuit board at said open end, over at least one of said electrical components, to form, in use, a sealed cavity around said at least one of said electrical components; a source of radioactive particles mounted within said container; an image sensor for capturing image frames within said sealed cavity, in use, wherein said image sensor comprises a detector region defining an array of pixels; and a processor for receiving said captured image frames, monitoring said image frames for changes in the statistical distribution of active pixels and, in the event that statistical distribution of active pixels indicates the presence of a feature in an image frame, generating a tamper alert.
Energy production system with intelligent intrusion detection
A system includes an energy production device, a tampering detection system comprising a plurality of sensors, and a control system in communication with the plurality of sensors. The control system is configured to detect a candidate for a tampering event, determine if the candidate is a tampering or a normal operational error by comparing a first order condition to a predetermined threshold, and, when the predetermined threshold is not met, comparing the candidate to a subsequent order condition until the threshold is met, and direct an undertaking of a countermeasure when the candidate is a determined tampering or undertaking a maintenance when the candidate is a determined normal operational error.
Tamper detection techniques
Various implementations described herein are related to a device having sensing circuitry that receives an input signal and provides an output signal based on sensing a resistance differential between multiple shield resistors or based on sensing a change in voltage across a shield wire of a shield wiring network. The device includes comparing circuitry that receives the output signal and provides an alarm signal based on detecting a tampering event associated with the resistance differential or the change in voltage.
