Merchandise anti-theft device with an electromechanical release mechanism
An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device includes a plurality of arms configured to immobilize the article of merchandise relative to a tray. At least one arm is operated by an electromechanical release mechanism between closed and opened positions. When the electromechanically actuated arm is in the closed position, the article of merchandise is immobilized relative to the tray. When the electromechanically actuated arm is transitioned into the open position, the article of merchandise can be removed from the tray. The anti-theft device may include a locking mechanism configured to transition between a locked configuration, in which the arms are immobilized relative to the tray, and an unlocked configuration, in which the arms can be extended or retracted relative to the tray.
Smart anti-theft tag with quadruple alarm function
Embodiments described herein relate to an anti-theft device. Some embodiments comprise a cover seat which is provided with an acoustomagnetic coil and a circuit board and formed with a guide slot, an arm hook which is a curved hook and has a long arm movably inserted into the guide slot, a plug which is mounted on the cover seat and used to lock the arm hook in a moving state, and a cable which is mounted at one end of the cover seat, penetrates through a YETI® vacuum cup and is electrically connected to the circuit board, wherein a monitoring assembly for protecting the tag against damage is mounted on the tag and comprises a Hall® switch arranged on the circuit board and magnetic steel arranged on a short arm of the arm hook.
MERCHANDISE ANTI-THEFT DEVICE WITH AN ELECTROMECHANICAL RELEASE MECHANISM

ASSET TRACKING AND NOTIFICATION PROCESSING
An asset is identified in a predefined area. The type of asset is identified through video or wireless tag identification. A security policy associated with the type of asset is obtained. Entries in an asset log are recorded based on a location of the asset, an individual handling the asset, and/or actions taken by an individual with respect to the asset based on the security policy. A real-time notification is sent when the location, the handling, and/or any of the actions warrant a notification based on the security policy.
PROGRAMMABLE SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING MERCHANDISE
A programmable security system and method for protecting an item of merchandise includes a programming station, a programmable key and a security system. The programming station generates a security code and communicates the security code to a memory of the programmable key. The programmable key initially communicates the security code to a memory of the security device and subsequently operates the security device upon a matching of the security code in the memory of the security device with the security code in the memory of the programmable key. The programmable key may also transfer power via electrical contacts or inductive transfer from an internal battery to the security device to operate a lock mechanism. The security code may be communicated by wireless infrared (IR) systems, electrical contacts or inductive transfer. A timer inactivates the programmable key and/or the security device after a predetermine period of time. A counter inactivates the programmable key after a predetermined maximum number of activations.
PORTIONS OF A SECURITY DEVICE SYSTEM; METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEM
A security device system including portions configured to have a combined state and a separated state. In the combined state, circuitry is configured to have armed state and a not-armed state, and to trigger an alarm during a breach of the armed state. Depending on the embodiment, at least one of the portions, and in some embodiments more than one of the portions participate in the armed and not-armed states. In some embodiments, the security device system includes an alarm device portion, a cradle portion, and a stratum portion.

MERCHANDISE SECURITY SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to security systems for securing an item of merchandise from theft or unauthorized removal. For example, the security system may include a sensor configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise, wherein the sensor includes an electrical connector. The security system also includes a base configured to removably support the sensor thereon, wherein the base includes an electronics module having a connector. The connector of the sensor and the connector of the electronics module are configured to electrically connect with one another when the sensor is supported on the base, and the sensor is configured to detect unauthorized removal of the item of merchandise from the sensor.
Box edge security device
A security device is provided that includes a seal and a tag assembly. The seal may be configured to be attached to a merchandise box. The tag assembly may include housing and an electronics assembly disposed within the housing. The housing of the tag assembly may be configured to slide onto the seal via sliding engagement between the housing and the seal.
