Intruder Deterrent System
The present invention relates to an intruder deterrent system. The system is comprised of a deterrent device is further comprised of a camera, a speaker, and a light. An area can be monitored by a user using the camera such that a user can deter an intruder by producing a loud sound from the speaker and by causing the light to strobe.
Event based monitoring of a person
In some instances, a person may need monitoring. The monitoring may be based on age, or on other factors such as abilities and functionality. The monitoring may enable a supervising person to remotely receive updates regarding the subject person. The supervising person may enter in various biometric parameters to monitor. The supervising person may alternatively and/or additionally set other factors to monitor such as time of day, location, activity level, and the like. The monitoring may provide peace of mind to a supervising person to ensure the subject person is safe. In some embodiments, the supervising person may set various alarm thresholds. The alarm thresholds may trigger an alert to the supervising person. In alternative embodiments, if the subject person is a grown person without a supervising person in the same vicinity, a security and/or automation system may act as the supervising adult.

Systems and methods for geofence security
Systems and methods for geofence information delivery are disclosed. A multiplicity of devices constructed and configured in network communication in a region of interest via a peer-to-peer network. The multiplicity of devices store cached geofence information for the region of interest. The multiplicity of devices on the peer-to-peer network are operable to convert between an IP address and a geographic location. Each of the multiplicity of devices is operable to query peer devices on the peer-to-peer network for geofences associated with an IP address or a geographic location. At least one peer device is operable to deliver one or more geofences associated with the IP address to the querying device via zero-configuration networking or web service.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING AND REPORTING SECURITY BREACH OF A PROPERTY
Present disclosure describes techniques for monitoring and reporting a security breach of a property. The techniques according to the present disclosure comprise detecting at least one activity by at least one motion sensor of a plurality of motion sensors, monitoring a time period of the at least one activity and determining whether the time period of the at least one activity surpasses a predetermined time period, and if the time period of the at least one activity surpasses the predetermined time period, activating a plurality of laser curtains placed on the property, and transmitting an alert to an owner of the property. The techniques further disclose determining whether at least one laser curtain of the plurality of laser curtains is disrupted, and if the at least one laser curtain of the plurality of laser curtains is disrupted, generating an audio-visual alert to notify about the security breach to one or more people present inside and outside of the property. Accordingly, the techniques of the present disclosure facilitate minimization of false alarms and unwanted alerts.
COMPUTER VISION SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR ANOMALOUS EVENT DETECTION
Disclosed herein are an apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for detecting an anomalous behavior event for an environment and transmitting an alert of the event. An implementation may comprise detecting, in a plurality of image frames captured by a camera, when a person enters a region of interest, tracking movements of the person in the region of interest by comparing images of the person in the plurality of image frames, determining attributes of the person, determining environmental contexts for the region of interest, determining whether or not an anomalous behavior is detected based on the movements and the attributes of the person and the environmental contexts, generating an alert when the anomalous behavior is detected, and transmitting the generated alert to user devices of one or more predetermined recipients.
DATA COLLECTING HEAD GUARD SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
A head guard is provided. The head guard includes one or more sensors as part of an sensory input and communications system. The head guard wirelessly communicates data to remote computing devices for intelligent data collection.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SMART DOORBELL INTEGRATION
A smart doorbell system suitable for installation within an existing conventional doorbell system is provided which controls the flow of current without any leakage using one single pole dual throw switch selecting between the doorbell chime and a bypass. By presenting current from passing through the existing chime during normal operation, the smart doorbell can be powered at almost all times using the home’s existing transformer. Only when the smart doorbell’s button is pressed will the current be temporarily diverted to the existing chime so as to enable it to emit the desired notification sound. A small battery can provide power to the smart doorbell during the few brief periods when the doorbell is powered and thus no power is provided to the smart doorbell from the home’s transformer.
Thermal management in smart doorbells
Various smart doorbell arrangements are presented. Based on a measured temperature of the smart doorbell, operation of the smart doorbell device may be altered such that more heat or less heat is generated without affecting user-facing features. Based on another measured temperature, operation of the smart doorbell may be altered such that a chime that is electrically coupled to the smart doorbell device is not sounded in response to a doorbell actuation, but that a notification of the doorbell actuation is wirelessly transmitted by the smart doorbell device.
Method and device for partially unmasking an object in a video stream
A method for partially unmasking an object in a video stream comprises: displaying a first video stream in which objects are covered by privacy masks; receiving user input regarding a selection of an object being covered by a privacy mask, wherein the object has a first portion being associated with a first privacy level and a second portion being associated with a second, higher, privacy level; checking that a permission associated with the user input grants access to video data depicting object portions being associated with the first privacy level; giving access to video data depicting the first portion of the object; and displaying a second video stream which differs from the first video stream in that it includes the video data depicting the first portion of the object, while the second portion of the object is still covered by a privacy mask.
