BATTERY WITH ELECTRONIC COMPARTMENT
An electronic module includes wireless data transmission circuitry configured to receive from a base station a signal corresponding uniquely to a battery device, wireless charging circuitry coupled with the wireless data transmission circuitry and configured to receive energy wirelessly transmitted from the base station, and a controller configured to, in response to the wireless data transmission circuitry receiving the signal, cause the wireless charging circuitry to charge a battery module of the battery device corresponding to the signal using the received wirelessly transmitted energy.
Offender monitoring system
An offender monitoring system has an electronic tag and a monitoring unit. The electronic tag has a tether to secure the electronic tag to an offender and a communication device to communicate with the monitoring unit. The monitoring unit has a communication device to communicate with the electronic tag. The system has a processor which analyses a communication between the electronic tag and the monitoring unit to determine a communication property, such as latency, variability of latency over a plurality of communications and signal strength. The processor determines, based on the measured communication property differing from a historical value, whether the communication between the electronic tag and the monitoring unit has been relayed via an intermediary device in an attempt by the offender to trick the monitoring unit.
Baby carseat reminder system
The baby carseat reminder system is an alarm and sensor system that attaches to the seat belt buckle. The baby carseat reminder system senses when the belt connector of a seat belt properly attaches to the anchor connector of the seatbelt. The baby carseat reminder system senses when the span of the distance between the seat belt buckle and an alarm fob is greater than a previously determined distance. The baby carseat reminder system generates a visual signal when the belt connector is properly inserted into the anchor connector. The baby carseat reminder system generates an audible and tactile alarm when the span of the distance between the seat belt buckle and the alarm fob is greater than a previously determined distance.
CAR SEAT SYSTEM FOR REDUCTON OF FALSE ALARMS, REDUCTION OF POWER DISSIPATION AND ITS RELEVANT OPERATION
Disclosed is a car seat system for reducing false alarm occurrences and a method for operating the car seat system. A car seat system according to one embodiment of the inventive concept includes a sensor unit including a plurality of sensors including a pressure sensor, and sensing an object on a car seat, a sensor controller that controls a main controller to enter a wake-up mode from a sleep mode when pressure information sensed about the object is received from the pressure sensor, the main controller that, upon entering the wake-up mode by the sensor controller, determines the object based on information sensed by each of the plurality of sensors and received via the sensor controller, and provides a beacon signal about the object based on the determination, and a transmitting unit that broadcasts the beacon signal from the main controller.
Misplacing prevention device
A misplacing prevention device capable of preventing leaving items inside and outside a predetermined area is provided. A microprocessor, when a user enters a vehicle interior, determines that the slave device having the ID stored in the memory is not in the vehicle interior based on a communication between a master device and a slave device, detects carrying-in leaving, and notifies the fact. The microprocessor, when the user enters an outside of the vehicle, also notifies a position of the slave device in the vehicle interior.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING FIREARM MOVEMENT AND RELOCATION FROM A STORAGE LOCATION
A system and method is provided for detection of movement or removal of a firearm from a storage location. The system generates a real-time alert that notifies a supervisor or owner of a firearm that movement or removal of the firearm from a stored location has occurred. The alert may be sent to a designated communication device such as a smartphone, landline phone, or to a computing device. An application (app) with a graphical user interface may be loaded on a user device to implement aspects of the firearm alert system. Movement and/or location sensors may be removeably mounted to the exit mouth of a firearm barrel, loaded in a round of ammunition (i.e., bullet), contained in a trigger lock, a slip on cover, screw on (after market) gun grips, original grips that come with the gun from a manufacturer, a bullet clip therefor, a gun lock, or an adhesive backed tile.
Theft Prevention Device And Theft Prevention System
There is provided an antitheft device and an antitheft system capable of reliably detecting theft via a simple installation method. The antitheft device includes a receiver 12 that receives a radio wave of a predetermined frequency, and a microcomputer (controller) 18 that determines whether or not the antitheft device is located at a position where it is impossible to detect a radio wave of a predetermined frequency by the receiver 12. The microcomputer (controller) 18 performs an alarming operation, upon determining that the antitheft device is located at a position where it is impossible to detect a monitoring radio wave WW of a predetermined frequency by the receiver 12. Accordingly, it suffices to attach the antitheft device 10 to a managed object MO such as a commercial item being monitored, and therefore it is not necessary to extend a cable from a sensor part attached to the commercial item.
Deferrable tracking for GPS mobile communication devices
A method is provided for a parent to determine a geo location of a child and the child may defer the release of their location by providing an affirmative response to the parent, the parent and child each having a network accessible device and the child's device being GPS enabled. The method utilizes a server based application in which the parent may request a response from the child. The application starts a countdown timer and the child must respond to the parent before the timer expires. If the timer expires and the child has not responded, the application attempts to determine the geo location of the child's device and forward any determined location to the parent's device. The method provides a parent peace of mind that they might locate their child in an emergency while providing the child a level of autonomy without feeling that they are constantly being watched.
Method and system for assessing the safety of a user of an application for a proactive response
A method for assessing a safety of a user of an application executing on a mobile device, including collecting a location data, a motion data, and a location data source from the application; transmitting, at a time, the location data, the motion data, and the location data source to a server; obtaining, from the server, a normal behavior data associated with the user; determining an abnormality score; determining a confidence score; determining a threat score; determining a threat type; calculating a safety score for the user; determining that the safety score is less than a safety score threshold; and transmitting a message to the mobile device of the user requesting a reply.
