Provided herein are methods, systems and computer program products for detecting tampering, comprising a sealing process and a seal verification process. The sealing process comprising analyzing a seal applied to seal an object as a tamper evident element, recording one or more manufacturing defects of the seal identified based on the analysis, each of the one or more manufacturing defects comprising one or more non-reproducible deviations from seal generation instructions used to produce the seal, and generating a signature comprising the one or more manufacturing defects. The seal verification process comprising obtaining the signature, analyzing the seal sealing the object, and determining whether the object is tampered based on a comparison between the analyzed seal and the signature.

SECURITY LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER, USE OF A SECURITY LABEL, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A SECURITY LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER

A system includes a container and a security label. The container is divisible into a plurality of parts and has a container body and a removable container closure. The security label has a first label section and a second label section forming respective parts of a common material web and a severing element which is arranged between the first and second label section with respect to a longitudinal axis of the security label. The security label is applied to the container such that the first label section is attached to the container body and the second label section surrounds the container closure. The second label section is formed such that the security label is closed along an edge line above the container closure by gluing and/or welding such that the second label section encloses the removable container closure.

SEALING OF A PACKAGE

Sealing a package with a visually transparent sealing label is described. The visually transparent sealing label contains an ultraviolet blocking component to prevent transmission of ultraviolet radiation through the label to the surface of the package. The package comprises an activatable component that upon excitation with ultraviolet radiation emits luminescence. The presence of the sealing label on the package may be verified by illuminating the sealing label with ultraviolet radiation and by observing whether the level of luminescence from the package material under the sealing label is lower than a limit value.

Adhesive label for a multi-part container, system and method for applying an adhesive label to a multi-part container

An adhesive label for a multi-part container having a threaded member and a container body includes a first, sheet-like label portion adapted to be attached to the threaded member of the container, and a second label portion adjacent the first label portion and adapted to be attached to the container body of the container. The second label portion has a comb-like structure with strip-shaped fixing elements such that the adhesive label couples the threaded member to the container body relative to a condition applied to the container and opposes movement of the threaded member relative to the container body.

FILM STRUCTURE WITH PROTECTION AGAINST MANIPULATION
20190147775 · 2019-05-16 · ·

A film structure with protection against manipulation includes a top film, a laser-inscribable layer which is arranged on the bottom side of the top film, and also a bottom film and a connecting layer for connecting the bottom film to the top film and the laser-inscribable layer. The connecting layer is arranged between the laser-inscribable layer and the bottom film. The film structure has an inscribed region and an uninscribed region. The top film is fused with the bottom film in the inscribed region of the film structure. As a result, it is virtually impossible to separate the top film with the inscribed layer from the bottom film without destruction in the event of a manipulation attempt.

SMART LABEL OR TAG HAVING A CONTINUITY SENSOR ON A SUBSTRATE HAVING A PREFERENTIAL TEARING DIRECTION AND SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
