A security element, in particular for security labels or adhesive strips, includes the following layers: a) a carrier substrate; b) a reflective layer or a layer with a high refractive index; c) a partial separating lacquer layer; and d) an all-over adhesive coating.

A rigid and tamper evident evidence container exhibiting interconnected sides, a bottom and upwardly extending and inter-foldable flaps for sealing and holding items of evidence in a secure and documentation verifiable fashion. The rigid and corrugated material exhibits either waterproof/non-fluid absorbent or fluid absorbent properties and is particularly suited for use by law enforcement personnel in the collection of evidence for criminal prosecution. A system and method associates a syringe and an attached spike with a corresponding vial and the medicinal composition contained in the vial. The system includes a labeled seal that detachably attaches to a spike and is removed for attachment to syringe. The labeled seal has an identifier, such as a color-coding, a tactile, or textual indicia. These identifiers on the labeled seal matches identifiers on a vial label that attaches to a vial containing the medicinal composition. The matching identifiers on the labeled seal and the vial label enable association between the syringe and the vial, so as to utilize the appropriate medicinal composition with the syringe. The identifier on the labeled seal is also indicative of the medicinal composition in the vial. A second label locks between the syringe and spike. The second label also serves to match the syringe with the corresponding vial and medicinal composition.

The laser-engraved seal includes a surface layer having a first color serving as a release layer, and a base material layer having a second color including a base material or an adhesive layer serving as a base material, and the laser-engraved seal further includes a background pattern formed by removing part of the surface layer by laser engraving performed on the surface layer, and an identification mark formed as a recess inside the background pattern by removing part of the base material layer by laser engraving.

An adhesive label for a multi-part container having a threaded member and a container body includes a first, sheet-like label portion adapted to be attached to the threaded member of the container, and a second label portion adjacent the first label portion and adapted to be attached to the container body of the container.
