20220241049 · 2022-08-04 ·

A tooth extraction glove is provided. The tooth extraction glove has finger coverings for only the index finger and thumb. Each finger covering has an aperture adjacent a distal end. The present invention also embodies separate mounting tips that cover the user's index finger and thumb tips, respectively. Each mounting tip provides one of a plurality of exchangeable prongs extending beyond the distal end of the mounting tip, wherein the prong slides through the above-mentioned aperture for gripping and extracting a tooth. The finger coverings provide decorative indicia to effectuate a non-threatening feel and appearance while the prongs extract the tooth.

DRUG RESISTANT GLOVE

An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.

An enhanced garment and method of using the same is characterized by a garment that provides for one or more grip pads to be secured onto or integrated into the garment at locations where the grip pads may be advantageous to the user. In some embodiments, the positioning of the grip pads on or within the garment may correspond to locations wherein friction, cushioning, or other advantage is desired. When in use, the present invention may provide that the user may grip objects more securely, manipulate objects equipment more efficiently, or otherwise perform tasks in a desired way.

Method of laminating a performance-enhancing layer to a seamless three dimensional glove

A method of manufacturing an enhanced, 3D, hand-shaped glove includes placing a seamless textile glove shell onto a laminating form, placing a solid laminate preform onto the glove shell, and applying pressure at an elevated temperature to laminate the preform to the glove shell. A platen or roller press can apply pressure to a glove shell on a flat surface of a laminating form, or a bladder or vacuum bag press can apply pressure to a glove shell on a curved surface of a laminating form. Edge peel resistance can be enhanced by extending the perimeter of a low modulus upper preform layer beyond underlying layers and bonding it directly to the glove shell. Fingers of the laminating form can be made wide and thin to cause warping of the preform about the glove fingers, or narrow and thick to minimize distortion of the finger shapes due to the preform.
