Dressing Chair
The Dressing Chair represents a significant leap forward in client care, revolutionizing the way individuals living at home or in healthcare settings experience independence and mobility. By combining essential components in a thoughtfully designed structure, this invention reduces falls, increases safety, eliminates the need for constant caregiver assistance, providing the user with a renewed sense of freedom, independence, and control over their lives. This abstract encapsulates the essence of The Dressing Chair, a novel solution that revolutionizes client care, providing support and dignity to individuals with limited mobility.
Portable Sit-to-Stand Lift Stowed on a Transport Wheelchair
This is a lightweight and portable sit-to-stand lift that can be easily assembled. It comes with components that can be stowed on a transport wheelchair. The lift is designed with a grab bar in the handicap bathroom, which supports the wheelchair user and eliminates the need for a heavy base as part of the lift. It features a low-cost, non-backdrivable gear system and is driven forward and reversed by the hand-held flexible ratchet, contributing to greater portability.
Wheelchair lift device and use thereof
A system is provided for raising and lowering a wheelchair and user, the system comprising a handheld tool with a bit and a lift comprising: a framework, which includes a base, a top and a pair of sides; a pair of articulating legs mounted on the base; a carriage slidably engaged with the sides and including a grooved axle support which is configured to accept a wheelchair axle; a drivetrain in motive relation with the carriage; a gear box which is attached to the framework; a gear box gear which is housed in the gear box and is in motive relation with the drivetrain; and a spindle which is attached to the gear box gear, extends upward from the gear box and is configured to engage the bit of the handheld tool.

Devices and methods for transferring an object
A transfer device includes a device body, and an articulated transfer platform. The articulated transfer platform include a distal platform segment and a plurality of intermediate platform segments. A distal locking mechanism is releasably securable to a locking mechanism of a lead intermediate platform segment, and locking mechanisms of successive intermediate platform segment are releasably securable to locking mechanisms of preceding intermediate platform segment. In a stowed position, the successive intermediate platform segments are positioned below the lead intermediate platform segment. In an extended position, the distal platform segment is located laterally away from the device body, the distal locking mechanism is secured to the locking mechanism of the lead intermediate platform segment, and the locking mechanism of a successive intermediate platform segment is secured to the locking mechanism of the lead intermediate platform segment.
Patient moving devices (edelgard rises)
Safe lifting devices configured for lifting of a fallen patient from a surface and for a transport of the patient are disclosed herein. The devices comprise a class 1 lever including two larger wheels disposed about parallel at a fulcrum of the lever with each of the two larger wheels having shorter load leverage arms and longer effort leverage arms extending radially outward and defining a lever angle of greater than 90. Each of the larger wheels disposed at the fulcrum includes a smaller rolling wheel attached to each larger wheel by an axle and a medium rolling wheel attached to each larger wheel by a different axle. When an operator pulls down the longer effort leverage arms the patient is safely lifted.
PATIENT TABLE
A patient table for adult patients includes an upper structure, a lower structure, and a hydraulic lifting system. The upper structure is configured support the adult patient and includes upper sections that are pivotably coupled to each other to change the between expanded and collapsed configurations. The lower structure is configured to support the upper structure above a ground surface and includes leg systems that are each extendable to change between extended and unextended configurations and that are each pivotably coupled to one of the upper sections to change between an in-use configuration extending downward from the upper section to which it is coupled and a stowed configuration contained within the upper section to which it is coupled. The lifting system is configured to change the leg systems from the unextended configuration to the extended configuration to lift the upper structure and from a lowered position to an elevated position.
Transfer Assistive Device and Apparatus
An apparatus for assisting a patient, the apparatus includes: a base, a primary member, an interface member, and three or more attachment members. The primary member is coupled to the base at a coupling end, with the primary member extending along a longitudinal axis from the coupling end to a shoulder. The interface member is an elongate member defining a first axis. The interface member is coupled to the shoulder with the first axis extending transversely relative to the primary member. The three or more attachment members are coupled to the interface member and extendable to extend radially from the interface member. Each of the three or more attachment members is attachable via corresponding attachment elements to a sling. The three or more attachment elements and the interface member are collectively rotatable as a rigid body about the first axis.
PATIENT MOVING DEVICES (EDELGARD RISES) WITH LOCKABLE X-BRACE
Safe lifting devices configured for lifting of a fallen patient from a surface and for a transport of the patient are disclosed herein. The devices can include an X-brace between two larger wheels enabling the width of the devices to be changed.
