FASTENER LOCKING DEVICE AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT HAVING SAME
The present disclosure provides a fastener locking device. The fastener locking device includes a locking piece and a fastener piece. A clamping hole matched with the fastener piece is formed in the locking piece. The clamping hole consists of at least two connected hole sites. One of the two connected hole sites deflects at a certain angle relative to the other of the two connected hole sites, so that an obtuse angle is formed on one side of the joint of the two connected hole sites. A bulge is arranged at a hole inner wall corresponding to the obtuse angle. The distance with the hole inner wall at the position of the bulge is smaller than the diameter of a clamping rod. A through hole is formed in a body of the locking piece and adjacent to the position of the obtuse angle. The present disclosure also provides medical equipment having the fastener locking device.
PATIENT/INVALID LIFT WITH SUPPORT LINE BEARING POWER AND DATA COMMUNICATIONS
A patient lift for transporting patients having a hoist assembly, a lift assembly and an integrated flexible load-bearing supporting member. The flexible load-bearing supporting member is retractable into the hoist assembly and has integrated load-bearing, data communications, and power components to transmit data and/or power to/from the hoist assembly and lift assembly.
PATIENT LIFT SYSTEM WITH COMPONENT COMPATIBILITY FEATURES
Patient lift systems and lift accessories for the same are disclosed. In one example, a system may include a rail having a carriage support channel formed in the rail, the channel having a width, the rail has a working load rating; a carriage slidably disposed in the rail for relative movement to the rail, the carriage comprising a shaft having a length; and a lift unit coupled to the carriage and operable to raise and lower a lifting strap, wherein the lift unit has a working load rating; wherein the length of the shaft of the carriage is less than the width of the channel when the working load rating of the lift unit is equal to or less than the working load rating of the rail. In this manner, lift units that are incompatible with the working load rating of the rail cannot be connected with the rail.
HEAD SUPPORT AND METHOD FOR USE OF THE HEAD SUPPORT FOR POSITIONING A PATIENT RELATIVE TO A SURGICAL FRAME
A lift, a head support, and methods for use thereof for use with a surgical frame are provided. The lift and the head support can be used with the surgical frame that is capable of reconfiguration before, during, or after surgery. The surgical frame can include a main beam that can be rotated, raised/lowered, and tilted upwardly/downwardly to afford positioning and repositioning of a patient supported thereon, and the lift and the head support can be used in lifting the patient from a table/gurney and positioning the patient with respect to the main beam.
Sling bars and lift assemblies including sling bars
A sling bar includes a frame defining a central hub, a first hook extending from the central hub, and a second hook extending from the central hub. The central hub includes a wall defining an internal hollow region and an external hub surface, the internal hollow region shaped and sized to receive a ferromagnetic insert therein, and one or more niches formed within the wall and recessed into the wall from the external hub surface, the one or more niches arranged radially around the internal hollow region and sized and shaped to receive a hand control device.

Fireman's carry harness
A harness assembly to assist in and secure a fireman's carry of a victim. The harness assembly includes an adjustable strap to be secured around the victim and an adjustable strap to be secured over the shoulder and under the armpit of a carrier. A harness system includes two harness assemblies with one harness assembly being attached around a leg of the victim and one shoulder of the carrier and the other harness assembly being attached around the chest of the victim and the other shoulder of the carrier. The straps are adjustable so that they can be cinched.
Attachment members for a slingbar component of a lift system
A slingbar includes a sling attachment member. The sling attachment member includes a frame including a base having a top end and a bottom end, and a hook extending from the bottom end to a hook terminus. The hook terminus and the top end of the base define an opening. The hook, base, and opening bound an interior of the attachment member. A closure element includes an outboard gate hinged to the hook terminus and an inboard gate hinged to the base. The gates have a default state in which each gate extends laterally only part way across the opening.
