A system includes a remote control for configuring the electronics of an electric stringed instrument. A system includes a remotely controllable electric stringed instrument, a remote control for configuring the instrument, a MIDI controller, and cords interconnecting the system.
Information processing method and apparatus for processing performance of musical piece
Provided is an information processing apparatus that generates various kinds of time series data according to a performance tendency of a user. The information processing apparatus includes an index specifying unit 22 that specifies performance tendency information that indicates a performance tendency of a performance of a musical piece by a user by inputting observational performance data X representing the performance to a learned model La and an information processing unit 23 that generates time series data Z regarding the musical piece according to the performance tendency information.
String sustainer for musical instrument
A sustainer is described for use with resonant strings in instruments like guitars, bases, slide guitars and others. Described sustainers can be handheld or integrated into an instrument. Sustainers under the current disclosure can include an approaching or direction detector that detects movement of a resonant element towards or away from the sustainer. Depending on the movement a signal can be fed to an output actuator that creates a magnetic field to sustain or otherwise interact with the resonance of the element.
Modular automated music production server
A music production system comprises: a computer interface comprising at least one input for receiving an external request for a piece of music and at least one output for transmitting a response to the external request which comprises or indicates a piece of music incorporating first music data; a first music production component configured to process second music data according to at least a first input setting so as to generate the first music data; a second music production component configured to receive via the computer interface an internal request, and provide the second music data based on at least a second input setting denoted by the internal request; and a controller configured to determine in response to the external request the first and second input settings, and instigate the internal request via the computer interface.
METHOD FOR TUNING CHOKE OPERATION IN A MANAGED PRESSURE DRILLING SYSTEM
A method for tuning a managed pressure drilling system comprising a variable orifice choke to control fluid flow from a drilling well includes (a) characterizing change in flow rate through the choke with respect to choke opening at a substantially constant pressure drop; (b) characterizing change in fluid pressure in the well with respect to change in choke opening at a substantially constant flow rate into the well; (c) characterizing a response time of pressure in the well to changes in the choke opening, a delay time of pressure response after a change in choke opening and a back pressure applied to the well with respect to choke opening. The characterizations in at least one of (a) and (b), and the characterization in (c) are used as control parameters for a proportional integral differential controller having as output the choke opening and as input the fluid pressure in the well before the choke.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING PERFORMANCE EFFECTS WITH MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
A system and a method for synchronizing performance effects with a musical performance. The method includes receiving a MIDI signal representing an audio track currently being played; determining, in near real-time, a tempo value of the said audio track based on a corresponding clock speed information as obtained from the MIDI signal; receiving information about a video file selected to be played along with the said audio track; determining, in near real-time, a tempo value of the said video file based on the received information thereabout; processing the said video file to determine required playback speed adjustment therefor to cause the tempo value of the said video to be in sync with the determined tempo value of the said audio track; and playing the said video file with the required playback speed adjustment applied thereto, along with the audio track in the musical performance.
Performance analysis method
A performance analysis method according to the present invention includes generating information related to a performance tendency of a user, from observed performance information relating to a performance of a musical piece by the user and inferred performance information that occurs when the musical piece is performed based on a specific tendency.
Audio techniques for music content generation
Techniques are disclosed relating to implementing audio techniques for real-time audio generation. For example, a music generator system may generate new music content from playback music content based on different parameter representations of an audio signal. In some cases, an audio signal can be represented by both a graph of the signal (e.g., an audio signal graph) relative to time and a graph of the signal relative to beats (e.g., a signal graph). The signal graph is invariant to tempo, which allows for tempo invariant modification of audio parameters of the music content in addition to tempo variant modifications based on the audio signal graph.
Apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for generating musical pieces
An apparatus, method, and computer-readable storage medium that generate a harmonized musical piece. The method includes receiving a chord selection including a musical key and a scale selection, generating, within a digital audio work session, a chord progression sequence based on the received chord selection, in response to a detected chord selection change, modifying the chord progression sequence to include a chord progression corresponding to the chord selection change, setting the chord progression sequence as a master sequence, in response to detecting a second progression sequence within the digital audio work session, transmitting an identifier to the second progression sequence setting it as a slave sequence, and establishing a synchronized communication link between the master and the slave sequences such that changes made in the master sequence are automatically effectuated in the slave sequence, and combining the master sequence and the slave sequence to form a composed musical piece.
Wireless communication device, wireless communication method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A wireless communication device and a wireless communication method capable of curbing occurrence of latency even when performing wireless communication at predetermined time intervals are provided. MIDI data is transmitted and received by communication (B) performed through a wireless module during an intermission between communications (A) performed at predetermined time intervals through the wireless module. Accordingly, a communication speed for wireless communication is improved. Therefore, compared to a case in which wireless communication is performed by only the communication (A), MIDI data can be quickly transmitted and received, and thus occurrence of latency can be curbed.
