Audio interface arrangement and a handheld device comprising the audio interface arrangement
The present disclosure generally relates to an audio interface arrangement. In one embodiment, a handheld device comprises the audio interface arrangement (not shown). The audio interface arrangement comprises at least two audio connecting means, wherein each of the at least two audio connecting means is adapted to connect a respective audio accessory to the audio interface arrangement. The audio interface arrangement further comprises an accessory determining means, which is coupled to said at least two audio connecting means. The accessory determining means is adapted to determine which type of audio accessory is connected to the respective audio connecting means. Hereby it is made possible to provide a handheld device that offers a user with a possibility to connect several different audio accessories to the handheld device, which accessories may be connected to the handheld device at the same time.
ELECTRONIC STRINGED INSTRUMENT, MUSICAL SOUND CONTROL METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An electronic stringed instrument includes: at least one linear string member to be plucked by a user; a plurality of string support members each supporting the string member at different positions in a longitudinal direction of the string member, each of the string support members being individually deformable in accordance with a plucking of the string member by the user; a plurality of sensors that output signals indicating respective deformation states of the plurality of string support members, wherein the respective deformation states of the plurality of string support members may be different from each other depending on a way the string member is plucked; and at last one processor configured to generate a musical tone control signal based on the signals output from the plurality of sensors.
PORTABLE SPEAKER SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC STRING INSTRUMENTS
A portable speaker system for an electric string instrument such as a guitar. The portable speaker system has a housing including an audio jack for receiving a raw audio signal from a guitar, an amplifier, a speaker, and a power supply. The portable speaker system attaches to the guitar by a button connector which releasably attaches to a strap button of the guitar, and a stabilizer for inhibiting rotation of the portable speaker system when attached to the guitar. The portable speaker system portably generates output sound from the raw audio signal. The portable speaker system can couple with a portable computing device, which can process the raw audio signal and provide a supplementary audio signal, from which the portable speaker system can portably generate output sound.
Portable Miniature Amplifier and Speaker for Guitar
A portable miniature sound amplifying apparatus for use with an electric guitar having a guitar jack, includes a body, an electric sound amplifying device positioned in the interior space of the body, and a guitar plug in electrical communication with the electric sound amplifying device that includes a male configuration for selectively mating with the guitar jack of the electric guitar. A speaker is mounted to the electric sound amplifying device and may be directionally articulated and is configured to receive and emit sound data from the guitar via the guitar plug. One or more stabilizer arms may be pivotally coupled to the sound amplifying device and positioned to protect a guitar from being damaged thereby.
Modular platform for creation and manipulation of audio and musical signals
A platform for audio and electronic music applications where the electronics are implemented as modules, and the modules mount in a cabinet with a common power supply and infrastructure. The platform addresses problems in electrical, mechanical, usability, and power distribution areas, and is suitable for guitar effects, synthesizers, studio equipment, and DJ gear.
Amplifier for music signal and method of outputting waveform of music signal
An amplifier and a method of outputting a waveform of a music signal capable of outputting a waveform of a music signal exceeding a power supply voltage is provided. An amplifier includes a power supply, an input terminal for a music signal, an amplifying circuit which amplifies the music signal using the power supply, and a jumping-up circuit which is connected to an output end of the amplifying circuit and outputs a waveform exceeding a voltage value of the power supply.
Method and device for rechargeable, retrofittable power source
A power system on an electric guitar may include a cover plate covering a standard cavity in the electric guitar. A rechargeable power source may be contained within the standard cavity and may not extend beyond an external surface of the cover plate. Other instruments or configurations may be used.
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD
Performance information of a music performance executed by a user is received, and temporarily stored into a buffer for each given time period. The performance information is recorded into a recording section in response to a recording instruction by the user. Second performance information having a definite time period is reproduced repeatedly, and the user ad-libs a desired musical performance while listening to the repeatedly reproduced tones of the second performance information. The given time period is set to coincide with the definite time period of the second performance information. Temporarily-stored performance information for the given time period is recorded in one of a plurality of recording tracks. In response to a plurality of user's recording instructions, a plurality of different segments of performance information for the given time period are recorded into respective ones of the recording tracks, and these different segments are reproduced repeatedly in synchronized fashion.
Switched reversing configuration control for string instruments and boost circuit therefor
A switched reversing configuration control for string instruments connects to a pair of pickup sensors located on an electric string instrument for selectively electrically configuring the pickup sensors between (a) the pair of pickup sensors being coupled with like polarity in one of series or parallel with respect to a pair of output terminals, or (b) effectively coupling only one of the pair of pickup sensors to the output terminals, or (c) the pair of pickup sensors being coupled with opposing polarity in one of series or parallel with respect to the output terminals. An optional reverse polarity passive boost circuit is provided for increasing the output voltage coupled to the output terminals when the pickup sensors are coupled with opposing polarity as compared to the output voltage that would otherwise be provided absent the reverse polarity passive boost circuit.
Instrument interconnect system
An instrument interconnect system that interfaces an instrument, such as a guitar or a bass, to an audio-receiving device, such as an amplifier, effect box, or a mixer. The instrument interconnect system provides enhanced clarity and sonic detail. The instrument interconnect system may allow a musician to select a voltage-buffered output signal, an unbuffered output signal, or may allow a musician to mix a voltage-buffered output signal and an unbuffered output signal. The instrument interconnect system may further allow the musician to selectively activate or deactivate gain-adjustment circuits and equalization circuits.
