Anti-bedsore bed
An anti-bedsore bed may comprise a bed unit, a first bed body, and a second bed body. The bed unit has a first mattress, and a bottom portion is coupled on a bottom surface thereof. Moreover, the bottom portion comprises a plurality of first supporting units at positions corresponding to a user's upper back, middle portion of back and lower back, and each of the first supporting units has a first sliding block moveably mounted on the bottom portion. Each of the first sliding blocks has a first supporting rod, and an abutting unit is pivotally connected to an upper end of the first supporting rod. Each of first power units secured on a bottom surface of the first sliding block is engaged with the first supporting rod while each of second power units secured on the bottom portion is engaged with the first sliding block.
PATIENT TRANSFER SYSTEM
Disclosed is a patient transfer system for transferring a user between a bed and a purposefully designed mobile sitting device that is aligned and berthed alongside the bed, wherein, the bed is adaptable to a seated arrangement and includes an interleaf structure of cushions and platforms, the platform including: a padding, a rail, restricted path, or track, and means for transferring the padding in a direction parallel to the ground away or towards the bed; the bed further includes means to raise or lower the top of the cushions or the padding; and the mobile sitting device includes a receiving rail, restricted path or track to receive the padding.
Patient support apparatus
A modular patient support system for use in ambulating a patient across a floor, comprising a primary module and a secondary module. The primary module has a primary base and a primary deck arranged for movement relative to the primary base, and the primary deck defines a first patient support area. The secondary module has a secondary base adapted for movement along the floor relative to the primary base and a secondary deck arranged for movement relative to the secondary base. The modular patient support system is operable between a docked configuration where the secondary deck cooperates with the primary deck to define a second patient support area larger than the first patient support area, and an undocked configuration where the secondary module is spaced apart from the primary module to facilitate ambulation concurrent with the secondary module across the floor away from the primary module.
Care bed
A care bed includes a bed body provided with a groove and a wheelchair disposed in the groove. The wheelchair includes: a wheelchair support sequentially provided with a wheelchair back plate, a seat plate, a leg plate and a foot plate, and the seat plate is fixed to the wheelchair support; a double-traction lifting regulator disposed below a connection position between the wheelchair back plate and the seat plate; a locking member disposed on the double-traction lifting regulator; a first traction member connected to the locking member; and a second traction member connected to the locking member. When the wheelchair is combined with the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be loosened; and when the wheelchair is separated from the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be locked.

PATIENT HANDLING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A patient handling apparatus includes an inflatable patient cradle (10) for holding and supporting a patient in a sitting position when inflated and an air compressor (90) connectable to the cradle to inflate the cradle. The air compressor (90) has a control system for regulating the pressure of inflation of the cradle (10) in use and is operative in a high pressure mode to bring the cradle to a first pre-defined inflation pressure for use in transferring a patient and operable in a reduced pressure mode to bring at least part of the cradle to a second pre-defined inflation pressure lower than the first pre-defined inflation pressure. In the lower pressure mode, the cradle (10) is more comfortable to sit on for prolonged periods whilst still providing adequate support to hold a patient upright.

Each of first power units secured on a bottom surface of the first sliding block is engaged with the first supporting rod while each of second power units secured on the bottom portion is engaged with the first sliding block.
WHEELCHAIR AND BED COMBINATION AND METHOD OF USE
A wheelchair and bed combination includes a wheelchair whose seat forms a part of the bed when the wheelchair is attached to a frame of the bed. The wheelchair can be disengaged from the bed using the bed raising and lowering mechanism so that a patient in the bed can be easily moved from the bed with a minimum of patient lifting and movement.
TRANSPORT APPARATUS
A first transport apparatus includes a deck for supporting a patient thereon and a lift mechanism supporting the deck. The deck is removable from the lift mechanism for use as a second transport apparatus or part of a second transport apparatus. The first transport apparatus further includes an electrically powered device at the first transport apparatus, and a user input device for wireless control of the electrically powered device, which is operable at or near the first transport apparatus and the second transport apparatus.
APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTING A PATIENT
An apparatus for transporting a patient. The apparatus includes a supporting portion to grasp part of the body of a patient. A footboard unit is provided upon which the patient is able to stand when supported by the supporting portion, the footboard unit movable along a floor by movable means. A frame is connected between the footboard unit and the supporting portion. The apparatus is configured so that the footboard unit is able to move in proximity to a bed upon which the patient is lying, whereat the supporting portion can grasp the part of the body of the patient, wherein the frame and the supporting portion are able to support the patient in transitioning from a lying position on the bed to a standing position adjacent the bed as the footboard unit is moved relative to the bed.
