Transparent Protective Face Mask
A transparent protective face mask, typically for non-medical use, is provided. The mask comprises a protective face covering portion to cover at least a mouth and nose of a user; side portions respectively comprising head attachment means; and a mount portion for resting the mask adjacent to and in contact with the chin of the user, whereby the face covering portion of the mask is spaced apart from the face of the user except at the mount portion. In another embodiment, the face mask comprises a flexible chin panel hinged to the face covering portion. The chin panel is releasably lockable with the face covering portion. The face covering portion may also comprise a nose portion comprising a nose bridge portion, and one or more nose protuberances flanking the nose bridge portion, for engaging with opposite sides of the nose of a user.
ANTI-BACTERIAL AND ANTI-VIRAL, SMART FACEMASK
A facemask having a graphene layer providing antibacterial and antiviral properties. The facemask is also able to generate electricity from the wearer's breath. The graphene is a three dimensional graphene produced in situ the facemask by burning a suitable material in the facemask with a laser, i.e. laser induced graphene (LIG). Typically, the graphene comprises hydrophilic graphene, in such a way that the graphene is more hydrophilic towards one side of the substrate and less hydrophilic towards the other side of the substrate, which provides the possibility of generating an electrical potential difference using human breath.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND PROTECTIVE SHROUD/HOOD WITH FAN
An article of outerwear which resists ignition and insulates against heat, the article of outerwear has a plurality of sections made from a fabric, such as woven fabric, knit fabric or a combination thereof. The plurality of sections allow the article of outerwear to stretch enhancing the comfort of the wearer of the article of outerwear. The outerwear may include a protective shroud/hood which has fans to circulate air inside the protective shroud/hood, the fans having air intake openings and vent openings, the air intake openings opening in planes which are perpendicular to planes in which the vent openings open.
Sports garment
A sports garment having a section covering the upper part of the body of a wearer during intended use of the garment, wherein a climate zone is arranged in the region covering each axillary area of the wearer during intended use. To improve the cooling of the axillary area efficiently, the climate zone has a plurality of fins which are arranged parallel to another and which are contacting the skin of the wearer during intended use of the garment, wherein the fins are extending along a defined height over a base material of the garment, wherein the fins are arranged in such a manner that the envelope of all fins has a kite-shape or rhomb-shape seen in the direction perpendicular onto the base material of the garment.
Chemical and biological thermal ensemble and composite fabric
The disclosed subject matter relates to chemical and biological protective garments and ensembles (i.e., two-part garments that when worn together cover most of the human body) and composite fabrics used therein. The composite fabrics include embodiments having a fabric cover layer combined with a vapor protective layer.
Face Mask with Replaceable Filter Cartridges and Components
Disclosed herein are methods and systems for face mask with replaceable filter cartridges and components. A face mask includes a mask component, a replaceable filter component, and a closure component. The replaceable filter component is bonded to and as between the closure component and the mask component when the closure component is attached to the mask component.
Outer garments with hidden internal support and back body shaping and lift
A lower body outer garment, such as a pant or legging, is provided which has a construction and hidden support which helps to redefine the wearer's appearance. The support is in one embodiment provided in the form of internal mesh re-enforcing panels that lift the buttocks and flatten the tummy. The invention also relates to twill or denim fabric versions of the lower garment, and includes the front and rear power control panels having strategic hem placement to avoid cutting into fleshy areas on the wearer or to lift and sculpt both the front and backside of the wearer.
Systems and methods for cleansing large animals using scrub gloves
Cleansing devices in the form of ergonomic scrub gloves for cleansing various surfaces including large animals and associated animal contact surfaces. The gloves include an inner layer, which is generally waterproof, with an outer layer comprising an abrasive weave.
POST-OPERATIVE GLOVE
A specially designed three-pronged Post Operative Glove (a POG), primarily for use in covering bandaging and casts, as well as IVs and PICs, together with a specially designed material thickness and embossing treatment, together with a securing means at its open distal end, as well as a special water-absorbent material positioning and securing means.
Breathable and Puncture Resistant Laminates
Laminates providing a simultaneous benefit of desirable breathability and puncture resistance are provided. The laminates include a nonwoven fabric and a vapor-permeable and liquid impermeable (VPLI) film bonded to the nonwoven fabric by an adhesive layer that is located between the nonwoven fabric and the VPLI film. The VPLI film has (i) a moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) of at least about 2000 Mocon or g/m.sup.2/24 hours as determined according to EDNA/INDA Worldwide Strategic Methods: WSP 70.4(08) and/or (ii) a puncture resistance of at least about 5 N as determined according to UNI EN 863:1997+UNI EN 14325:2005 Par. 4.10+UNI EN 13034:2009 Par. 4.1 with test conditions of (20+/−2)° C. at (65+/−4)% U.R. with an extension rate of 100 mm/min.
