MONITORING THE COOLING OF SUBCUTANEOUS LIPID-RICH CELLS, SUCH AS THE COOLING OF ADIPOSE TISSUE
A system and method of monitoring, controlling and/or detecting events during the removal of heat from subcutaneous lipid-rich tissue is described. In some examples, the system detects an increase in temperature at a treatment device in contact with the skin of a subject, determines that the increase in temperature is related to a treatment event, and performs an action based on the determination. In some examples, the system shuts off the treatment device, alerts an operator, or reduces the cooling in response to a determined treatment event.
MULTI-MODALITY TREATMENT DEVICE
A handheld treatment device is configured to apply one or more treatment modalities to a user. The treatment device can include a heater, a massager, and an electrical energy generator that applies current to a user's body via EMS or TENS. The treatment device may also include a thermoelectric cooler. A control interface is configured to activate one or more of the heater, the thermoelectric cooler, the massager, and the electrical energy generator. The treatment device may be battery-powered.
VIBRATING THERAPY SYSTEM AND DEVICE
A vibration therapy device that includes a housing that includes a handle portion, a head portion and a module seat defined on the head portion, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and a therapy module removably secured to the module seat. The distal end of the push rod assembly is configured to removably receive a reciprocating attachment thereon. The therapy module at least partially surrounds the distal end of the push rod assembly.
Temperature-Controlled Massage Node
A temperature-controlled massage node that imparts either or both a heating or cooling effects is provided, which may be attached to a massager to impart a heating or cooling effect on a user with a massage effect, or optionally, without a massage effect. The temperature-controlled massage node may be affixed to the massager or may be removably coupled. The temperature-controlled massage node may be powered by the same power source as the massager or may include an independent power source located, for example, in the massage node. The massage node may be used with a massager that provides percussive massage effects, such as a massage gun, or may be used with a vibrating massager. Optionally, the massage node may include independent power, a controller and a motor to supply both a vibrating massage effect and hot and cold effect, either alone or in combination.
Temperature-Controlled Massage Node Light Indicator
A temperature-controlled massage node that imparts either or both a heating or cooling effects is provided, which may be attached to a massager to impart a heating or cooling effect on a user with a massage effect, or optionally, without a massage effect. Optionally, the massage node may include independent power, a controller and a motor to supply both a vibrating massage effect and hot and cold effect, either alone or in combination.
MEDICAL METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SKIN TREATMENT
The present invention generally relates to improved medical devices, systems, and methods, with exemplary embodiments providing improved cooling treatment probes and cooling treatment methods and systems. In some embodiments, freezing of the skin may be desirable to effect the hypopigmentation of the skin of the patient. Generally, embodiments may limit supercooling of the skin of the patient during a cooling treatment. Additionally, embodiments may limit adverse side effects such as hyperpigmentation. It has been found that the freezing behavior (frequency and time to freeze) can be modified by adjusting the thermal parameters of the cooling applicator. Accordingly, in some aspects of the invention, a method of treating the skin may be provided where the thermal parameters of the cooling applicator are adjusted during treatment.

MASSAGE APPARATUS
A massage apparatus includes a main body having a surface, a plurality of massage rollers coupled to the main body, a textured region disposed on at least a portion of the surface of the main body, and an electronic module disposed within the main body. The electronic module includes at least one of a heating mechanism, a cooling mechanism, and a thermoelectric module. The electronic module is configured to heat, cool, and/or selectively heat and cool the main body and the plurality of massage rollers via the heating mechanism, the cooling mechanism, and the thermoelectric module, respectively.
Haptic ring
Device (100) for applying haptic stimuli to a body part (200) of a user, comprising a stiff support (30) configured to contact the body part 200; a containing element configured to keep the body part (200) in contact with the stiff support (30); an actuating element configured to push the stiff support (30) into the containing element and apply a pressure to the body part 200. The containing element comprises a stiff frame (10) defining a recess (20) to house the body part 200. The frame (10) comprises two lateral stiff guides (51) defining the recess (20) and the stiff support (30) is configured to move in a guided manner in the stiff guides (51). At least one servomotor (40, 40′) is provided connected integrally to the stiff frame (10) on the opposite side to the stiff support (30) with respect to the recess (20) and arranged to cause a relative movement, inside the recess (20) and with respect to the lateral stiff rails (51), of the stiff support (30) with respect to the body part (200).
