Venues map application and system providing a venue directory
In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide a unique venue directory, providing an easy and visual mechanism to search for categories of points of interest (e.g., clothes, food, restrooms) or specific items within the venue. Search results can be presented on a map of a floor within the venue as well as a listing providing all search results located within the venue.
Methods, servers, and non-transitory computer readable record media for converting image to location data
A location providing method implemented by a server comprising extracting text from an image received through an application executed on a first client, extracting matched location information corresponding to the image based on the text, and providing the matched location information and the image to one or more clients through the application.
Method for processing map data, device, and storage medium
The disclosure discloses a method for processing map data, a device, and a storage medium. The detailed implementing solution includes: determining POI data of bound points of interest (POI) of a road to be marked in response to obtaining a road marking instruction; selecting target POI data from the POI data of the bound POIs based on a scene where a user is located; and rendering a map interface based on road information of the road to be marked and the target POI data, and displaying the map interface rendered.
Systems and methods for a chronological-based search engine
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing a chronologically-based search engine. Example methods includes presenting, on a display of an end-user device, live image data being captured by a camera of the end-user device, determining a pose of the end-user device, and sending the pose of the device to a server. The method also includes receiving location specific data from the server, the location specific data based on the pose of the end-user device, the location specific data including a first topic, and superimposing, on the live image data, based on the location specific data, (i) at least one highlighted area of an object associated with the first topic, and (ii) a query panel associated with the first topic superimposed proximate the object, the at least one highlighted area and the query panel being interactive elements associated with the first topic.
Automatic annotation of environmental features in a map during navigation of a vehicle
Among other things, we describe techniques for automatic annotation of environmental features in a map during navigation of a vehicle. The techniques include receiving, by the vehicle located within an environment, a map of the environment. Sensors of the vehicle receive sensor data and semantic data. The sensor data includes a plurality of features of the environment. A geometric model of a feature of the plurality of features is generated. The feature is associated with a drivable area within the environment. A drivable segment is extracted from the drivable area. The drivable segment is segregated into a plurality of geometric blocks, wherein each geometric block corresponds to a characteristic of the drivable area and the geometric model of the feature includes the plurality of geometric blocks. The geometric model is annotated using the semantic data. The annotated geometric model is embedded within the map.
Three-Dimensional Layered Map
A map having surfaces that are depicted at different levels that are not related to topography, with boundaries between the surfaces, where the boundaries are disposed at travel ways. The travel ways form cliff faces in the map between the surfaces, with information items disposed on the cliff faces at positions corresponding to items of interest at locations along the travel ways where the information items are disposed.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTEXT-AWARE DECISION MAKING OF AN AUTONOMOUS AGENT
A system for context-aware decision making of an autonomous agent includes a computing system having a context selector and a map. A method for context-aware decision making of an autonomous agent includes receiving a set of inputs, determining a context associated with an autonomous agent based on the set of inputs, and optionally any or all of: labeling a map; selecting a learning module (context-specific learning module) based on the context; defining an action space based on the learning module; selecting an action from the action space; planning a trajectory based on the action S260; and/or any other suitable processes.
Problem reporting in maps
For a mapping application, a method for reporting a problem related to a map displayed by the mapping application is described. The method identifies a mode in which the mapping application is operating. The method identifies a set of types of problems to report based on the identified mode. The method displays, in a display area of the mapping application, a graphical user interface (GUI) page that includes a set of selectable user interface (UI) items that represent the identified set of types of problems.
FARMING VEHICLE FIELD BOUNDARY IDENTIFICATION
A system and a method are disclosed for planning a path within a field for a farming machine. The system predicts boundaries of the field using a previously captured image of the field and generates a suggested route to be taken by a data collection device based on the predicted boundaries. As the data collection device travels along the suggested route, the data collection device collects location data associated with a current layout of the field. The location data may be labeled with obstructions encountered along the way. Based on the location data, the system identifies current boundaries of the field, which may be different from the predicted boundaries. The current boundaries are sent to a verification device to be verified. After the current boundaries have been verified, the path for the farming machine is planned.
Information providing apparatus and vehicle
An information providing apparatus is configured to be used in a target vehicle and display power feeding facilities on a map, the target vehicle being configured such that a vehicle-mounted battery can be charged with DC power supplied from outside the target vehicle. The information providing apparatus is configured to display an electrical outlet-type AC stand on the map in a manner of being distinguished from a cable-equipped AC stand, when the target vehicle is a vehicle not including an AC charger and a prescribed first condition is satisfied. In contrast, the information providing apparatus is configured to display the electrical outlet-type AC stand and the cable-equipped AC stand on the map without distinguishing between the electrical outlet-type AC stand and the cable-equipped AC stand, when the target vehicle is a vehicle including the AC charger and a prescribed second condition is satisfied.
