CONNECTED VEHICLE FOR PROVIDING NAVIGATION DIRECTIONS TO MERCHANT TERMINALS THAT PROCESS VEHICLE PAYMENTS
Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
User Terminal and Control Method Thereof
An embodiment user terminal includes an image acquisition part, a user interface configured to display an image photographed through the image acquisition part, a position detection sensor configured to detect a position of the user terminal, and a controller configured to determine a recommended point of interest (POI) among a plurality of POIs located around the user terminal, based on operation information about each of the plurality of POIs, a user's search history for a POI, and the user's POI scrap, and to control the user interface to display an augmented reality (AR) image corresponding to the recommended POI by superimposing the AR image on the image photographed through the image acquisition part.
Systems and methods for adaptive content filtering
Technologies are disclosed herein for selecting one or more content instances of a plurality of content instances for display on a head unit of a vehicle. The content instances correspond to a location of a vehicle and are received by the head unit. The head unit obtains vehicle specific information from memory of the head unit. Based on the vehicle specific information, the head unit selects the one or more content instances using a set of criteria for determining which, if any, content instances to display. Selection of the one or more content instances using the set of criteria may involve consideration of information associated with individual instances of the plurality of content instances. The selected one or more content instances are displayed on a display of the head unit.
ROUTE RECOMMENDATION METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A route recommendation method, an electronic device, and a storage medium are provided, which relate to the field of data processing and especially relate to the field of intelligent recommendation. The method includes: receiving a route recommendation request, wherein the route recommendation request comprises N-dimension itinerary label information; selecting M theme routes from a theme route library according to the N-dimension itinerary label information; determining a recommended route from the M theme routes, wherein the selecting the M theme routes from the theme route library according to the N-dimension itinerary label information, comprises: selecting at least one theme route from the theme route library according to i-th-dimension itinerary label information in the N-dimension itinerary label information and theme information of respective theme routes in the theme route library.
Route optimization system based on height parameter
Systems and methods for managing routing involving an indicated point of interest associated with a plurality of levels of a multilevel (overlapping or stacked) roadway are provided. In example embodiments, a networked system aggregates trip data received from user devices that includes location information and detected attributes for points of interest. The networked system analyzes the location information and the detected attributes to determine a height parameter and, in some cases, a characteristic associated with different levels of the multilevel roadway for points of interest. The height parameters and characteristics for each point of interest are stored to a database in a data storage. During runtime, the networked system receives a request that includes a point of interest. In response, the networked system detects a level of roadway at the point of interest using the database and real-time device data. Based on the detected level of the multilevel roadway, a route is generated and presented.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SELECTING A CHARGING ENTITY BASED ON OCCUPANCY STATUS
Systems and methods for selecting a charging entity based on occupancy status are provided. In one embodiment, a method includes determining a current geo-location and state of charge of a requesting vehicle. A plurality of charging entities that are within a remaining distance of the requesting vehicle are identified. Occupancy statuses for one or more charging entities of the plurality of charging entities are determined. The method also includes estimating charging speeds for the one or more charging entities based on the occupancy statuses. A charging station map user interface that pin points the current geo-location of the requesting vehicle and the one or more charging entities is presented. The one or more charging entities are presented with labels based on the charging speeds. The method further includes reserving a charging station of a selected charging entity of the plurality of charging entities by selecting a label.
EMISSION-OPTIMIZED VEHICLE ROUTE AND CHARGING
Systems and methods for vehicle route planning are disclosed. The system is configured to identify one or more charging stations based on one or more geographic locations selected for route planning. The system is also configured to analyze carbon emissions data for the one or more charging stations based on utility grid locations associated therewith. The system is further configured to determine a route associated with the one or more geographic locations and select at least one charging station on the route for charging of a vehicle based on analysis of the carbon emissions data associated with the one or more charging stations. The system is still further configured to provide the route and the at least one charging station to a user for navigation of the vehicle.
INFORMATION PROVIDING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD BY INTERLINKING A USER TERMINAL WITH AN INFORMATION TERMINAL
An apparatus and method for providing a layer-based service with improved information accessibility are disclosed, and the method for providing a layer-based service with improved information accessibility according to an embodiment of the present application includes the operations of obtaining manipulation information and interface information for a target service, building an accessible layer corresponding to the target service by improving information accessibility associated with a user interface and a user experience of the target service based on the manipulation information and the interface information, and providing the target service based on the accessible layer.
INFORMATION OUTPUT SYSTEM AND INFORMATION OUTPUT METHOD
An information output system includes an output unit (25) configured to output information, an information recognizing unit (212) configured to recognize first information according to designation operation by a user, and an output control unit (211) configured to cause, on condition that a present OFF period of a moving body (3) is started, the output unit (25) to output, in a form recognizable by the user, an interface for requesting an input of second information that should be associated with the first information recognized after a start of a present ON period of the moving body (3) and information indicating one or both of the location and the time point.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING AUDIO-BASED NAVIGATION
An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided for providing audio-based navigation. In one example, the apparatus determines reliability of a navigation technique for a vehicle. If the navigation technique is unreliable, the apparatus causes the vehicle to rely on audio-based navigation to traverse a route. The audio-based navigation provides one or more navigational instructions based on a sound signature associated with a location.
