A magnetic encoder comprising an encoder element having at least two tracks of encoder regions, each region comprising a magnetic pole, the poles along each track being arranged as an alternating pattern of North and South poles, and one or more sensors, each sensor comprising one or more sensing elements associated with a respective track and generating an output that is indicative of the magnetic field associated with that track in the vicinity of the sensor, in which at least one track has a differing number of poles to at least one of the other tracks, and in which the properties of the poles of a first one of the tracks differ along the track such that there is a periodic variation along the first track of the magnetic field emitted by the first track that is detected by the sensing elements associated with the first track which at least partially cancels out a corresponding periodic variation in field from the other tracks that is also detected by the sensing elements associated with the first track.

At least four magnetic field sensor elements are integrated in the sensor chip, with two of the magnetic field sensor elements being spaced apart from each other and are sensitive to magnetic field components in a first direction and wherein two of the magnetic field sensor elements are spaced apart from each other and are only sensitive to magnetic field components in a second direction, whereby the first and the second direction are mutually non-parallel and the first and the second direction being perpendicular to the rotation axis.

An integration kit is disclosed herein that allows for mounting of a resolver trigger wheel relative to a bearing assembly, resolver, and rotor. The integration kit simplifies assembly and saves space. The integration kit includes a resolver integration sleeve that includes a first axial section including a radially inner surface defining a bearing support and radially inwardly extending flange defining an axial abutment surface. The resolver integration sleeve also includes a second axial section including at least one anti-rotation slot dimensioned to receive a portion of a trigger wheel, at least one anti-rotation tab extending axially towards the first axial section and dimensioned to be received by a rotor, at least one securing tab extending radially outward and configured to engage a trigger wheel, and a radially outwardly extending flange.

In a quick measurement module provided by the present invention, a first distance sensing unit and a second distance sensing unit are provided individually on a movable seat, so that when the movable seat is displaced along a linear shifting axis, the first distance sensing unit senses the distance from the first reference plane, and meanwhile, the second distance sensing unit senses the distance from the second reference plane, so as to sense the linearity accuracy in movement of the movable seat with respect to the first reference plane and the second reference plane. The first reference plane and the second reference plane are spaced apart by an angle other than a right angle, so that the linearity accuracy in movement in the two different planes, such as the horizontal linearity accuracy and vertical linearity accuracy, of the movable seat can be obtained through sensing.
