MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A motion assistance apparatus which may include a proximal support configured to support a proximal part of a user, a distal support configured to support a distal part of the user, a hollow actuator on the proximal support, a reducer inserted in the hollow actuator such that an input end of the reducer is connected to an output end of the hollow actuator, and a driving frame configured to connect an output end of the reducer to the distal support.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HEAT OR COLD THERAPY AND COMPRESSION THERAPY
A medical device providing a combination of thermal and DVT therapies to a patient. The components, arrangement of components, function of the device as a whole, and methods of use of the device are all devised to maximize therapeutic effectiveness. Effectiveness in this context is measured by the ability to provide a controlled application of the recommended thermal treatment including time, temperature, compression, and number of cycles with specified cycle duration.
Compositions and methods for treating severe pain
The present specification discloses pharmaceutical compositions, methods of preparing such pharmaceutical compositions, and methods and uses of treating a chronic inflammation and/or an inflammatory disease in an individual using such pharmaceutical compositions.
Adjustable massage structure and massage backpack
An adjustable massage structure having a back panel and at least one shoulder strap set on the back panel, the back panel having a connected upper part and a lower part, an upper end of the at least one shoulder strap is connected to the back panel at a position set on the connection line of the upper part and the lower part of the back panel, the lower end of the at least one shoulder strap is connected to the lower part of the back panel by a first webbing, the at least one shoulder strap is provided with a massage head inside, the at least one shoulder strap and the upper part of the back panel is connected with a second webbing for adjustment of the shoulder strap, the second webbing is provided with a second adjustment part for adjusting the length of the second webbing.
Method and apparatus for providing economical, portable deficit-adjusted adaptive assistance during movement phases of an impaired ankle
A method is described for providing deficit-adjusted adaptive assistance during movement phases of an impaired ankle. The method includes determining, on the processor, a value for a deficit parameter for each movement phase of a compound ankle function based on a difference between a parameter trace for a normal subject and the parameter trace for an impaired subject. The method further includes determining, on the processor, an adaptive magnitude for the robot-applied torque based on the value for the deficit parameter. The method further includes applying, to the robot joint, the adaptive magnitude for the robot-applied torque in only a first plane for the current movement phase, based on an adaptive timing. An apparatus is also described for providing deficit-adjusted adaptive assistance during movement phases of the impaired ankle.
Head and neck compression therapy system
A compression garment system and method that may include a head garment portion configured to be donned on a head of a body. The compression garment and method may further include a neck garment portion configured to be donned on a neck of the body. A controller may be configured to control pressure applied by each of one or more head pressure applying regions and/or each of one or more neck pressure applying regions to move lymph at least from the head towards the neck.
MASSAGE GUN HOLDER
A massage gun holder (e.g., to hold a massage gun in a manner that enables a user to effectively self-massage for therapeutic or relaxation purposes with ease) has a tube (shaft) with a first end and a second end, a series of alternating bends and straight segments between the first end and the second end, and a massage gun engager (configured to receive and engage the massage gun) at a second end of the tube. The massage gun engager has an opening to receive a portion of a massage gun.
Wearable devices, systems, methods and architectures for sensory stimulation and manipulation and physiological data acquisition
A garment with prepositioned, definite sensory stimulating devices attached. These sensory stimulating devices include, but are not limited to, electrical stimulation, audio and physical stimulation such as localised force generation, compression, constriction, vibration, and surround sound. Predetermined and defined actuators allow the wearer to receive tissue, nerve and/or muscle stimulation and/or contraction so that the stimulation is precise as determined by its ability to conform to the scientific methodology of repeatability, reproducibility and reliability; this being due to consistency of actuator positioning in one or multiple locals on the human body. A personal surround sound can also be integrated to the garment to ensure the wearer is always in the optimal position relative the speakers. These actuators can be force generators within the garment for the wearer to feel impact or apparatus or electrodes included in the garment to locally constrict and increase pressure on the wearer.
MASSAGE CHAIR HAVING IMPROVED STRETCHING FUNCTIONALITY
Disclosed is a massage chair with improved stretching performance. The massage chair includes a seating unit (20); a backrest unit (10) with a pair of massage rollers (40) installed to left and right sides thereof; a footrest unit (30) or an ankle holder (33) provided to a front lower portion of the backrest unit (10) to hold both feet; and an upper body stretching unit (50) installed to a rear portion of the backrest unit (10) to lift a hand lever (51) by a driving force, in which when the hand lever (51) is lifted in a state in which a user holds the hand lever (51) by both hands, the whole body is stretched. The lower portion of the backrest unit (10) is optionally provided with a lumbar stretching unit (70) for stretching a waist of the user, and an air conditioner (460) for supplying air to the backrest unit (10), so that the user can get over feeling tired.
ASSIST DEVICE
An assist device includes a first body-worn unit that is worn on at least shoulders or a chest of a user; a second body-worn unit that is worn on each of right and left legs or a waist of the user; a belt body provided to extend along a back side of the user, from the first body-worn unit to the second body-worn unit; an actuator provided in the first body-worn unit or the second body-worn unit and allows a part of the belt body to be reeled and unreeled; a battery configured to supply electricity to the actuator; and a controller configured to control the actuator. When a remaining charge level of the battery has decreased to a predetermined set value, the controller executes a vibrating motion process of causing the actuator to perform a vibrating motion of intermittently repeating reeling of a minute amount of the belt body.
