Walker

Walkers capable of adapting to surrounding environments, including stairs, curbs, sidewalks, and other surface or ground obstacles that have adjacent uneven surfaces. The walkers include a frame assembly having back legs, front legs, and a handlebar fixedly coupled to the back legs. Intermediate members respectively couple the front legs to the back legs and are configured for selective vertical adjustment of vertical positions of the front legs relative to the back legs and relative to at least a first surface engaged by lower ends of the back legs. After selective vertical adjustment of the vertical positions of the front legs, the front and back legs of the walker are capable of engaging and supporting the walker on the first surface engaged by the lower ends of the back legs and engaging and supporting the walker on at least a second surface engaged by lower ends of the front legs.

CRUTCH AND SITTING DEVICE
20220370281 · 2022-11-24 ·

Devices for improvement of the basic crutch, cane, and ambulatory aids to provide needed support to ameliorate potential injuries and improve ambulation for persons suffering from injured lower limbs, lumbar region or other injuries, and who frequently require using crutches for mobility. Normally, the conventional crutches require more energy from the user than merely walking, and frequently, a crutch user may require rest. Prior crutch systems have not provided a convenient way to provide the user with such rest. Also, we show crutch support in sitting position that works as a simple and handy decompression system for herniated or bulged discs and injured/weak back muscles. An integrated crutch and walker system is described.

Device and method for applying pressure to a mammalian limb
11590031 · 2023-02-28 · ·

A therapeutic pressure band for applying pressure across a muscle or muscle groups on a mammalian limb is described. The band is particularly well suited for treating “shin splints.” The band includes a plurality of straps that are connected together via a connecting material. Ends of each of the straps have adjustable fasteners for securing and tightening the band around a limb. The band also possesses a plurality of pressure members (e.g., elongated rubber tubes) that apply separate and discrete areas or points of pressure in a line across a muscle, tendon, bone, or muscle group and generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the limb.

Movement-dependent stabilization support system

The present invention relates to a movement-dependent stabilisation support system (100) for stabilising a moving body (200), which comprises a plurality of sensors (110), a plurality of actuators (120) and a control unit (130). The plurality of sensors (110) continuously detects movement parameters of the body (200), on which basis the control unit (130) determines whether there is an instability of the body (200). If it is determined that there is an instability, the control unit (130) selects a stabilisation strategy, according to which the actuators (120) are controlled. When controlled, the actuators (120) attached to the body (200) stiffen and limit the freedom of movement of the body (200), such that a movement in the direction of the imminent unstable state is prevented or suppressed. In this way, the body (200) is supported in its stabilisation and an imminent fall is prevented.

Personal massager

Disclosed embodiments provide an improved personal massager device. The massager device includes a stimulator, which is G-spot stimulator or a prostate stimulator. The stimulator includes an enclosure having an opening. A threaded post is disposed within the enclosure. The threaded post has a plurality of pitched threads. A roller is disposed within the plurality of pitched threads. The roller protrudes outside the opening of the enclosure. The threaded post is rotated back and forth by a motor, and as it does so, the roller traverses a path. A sheath is disposed tightly over the enclosure. The roller presses the sheath against the G-spot or prostate of the user, providing stimulation. In some embodiments, one or more of a start position of the roller and an end position of the roller are defined by user input.

BACK AND SPINE DECOMPRESSION DEVICE

A spinal decompression system comprising an anchor portion and a working portion operatively coupled to the anchor portion. The anchor portion is adapted to anchor the spinal decompression system to a mechanical ground. The anchor portion comprises an anchor strap. The spinal decompression system comprises a pair of arm supports to support a user's arms in a raised position. The pair of arm supports are operatively coupled to the anchor strap to form a load path from the pair of arm supports to the anchor strap. A load cell is disposed in the load path to sense an applied load applied by the pair of arm supports. The pair of arm supports have an adjustable height to adjust the spinal decompression system to apply a desired load to the users arm to unload at least a portion of the user's bodyweight.

Apparatus for measurement of a limb circumference, a device for measurement of a limb compliance comprising the same and a device used in the treatment of lymphedema comprising the same
11583207 · 2023-02-21 · ·

The present invention provides an apparatus for measurement of a limb circumference, comprising a pull string module, a first measurement module and a second measurement module. The pull string module comprises a surrounding component, wherein the surrounding component comprises an encircling part disposed around a limb of an individual; the first measurement module is disposed at the pull string module and moves alone the longitudinal axis of the limb and meanwhile measures the length of the limb; and the second measurement module measures the length of the encircling part simultaneously when the first measurement module move alone the limb, so as to determine the correlation between the limb length and the limb circumference. The present invention further provides a device including two or more apparatuses of the present invention to measure the limb compliance and to be used in the treatment of lymphedema.
