A medical apparatus for standing aid comprising a backrest (4) that has at least one side thereof provided with a crank rocker mechanism that comprises a crank mechanism (1), a triangular linkage mechanism (2), and a rocker mechanism (3), the crank mechanism (1) being rotatably connected to the triangular linkage mechanism (2) such that an included angle between a second driven link (BE) of the triangular linkage mechanism (2) and the crank mechanism (1) is always smaller than 90°, and the crank mechanism (1) driving the triangular linkage mechanism (2), the rocker mechanism (3) and the backrest (4) connected to the triangular linkage mechanism (2) to perform interactive movement repeatedly along a predetermined curve trajectory in response to a driving force coming from a drive effect of a driving unit (100), so that the backrest (4) connected to the second driven link (BE) assists a trainee in standing up repeatedly by obliquely supporting the trainee's waist.

POST-SURGICAL OBSTRUCTION TREATMENT RECOVERY AND REHABILITATION THERAPY
20170360649 · 2017-12-21 ·

Medical pressure therapy can be used on a patient having undergone treatment to reopen an arterial obstruction, such as a stenosis or occlusion. The medical pressure therapy can establish and maintain persistently good distal runoff. The can help ensure the patency of the region having undergone the treatment procedure. In some examples, the technique involves enclosing at least a portion of a limb of a patient on which an obstruction treatment procedure has been performed in an enclosure such that the portion of the limb is sealed from external conditions. The technique further involves alternately applying a negative pressure within the enclosure and releasing the negative pressure from within the enclosure, thereby increasing a volume and velocity of blood flowing past a region of the blood vessel previously-obstructed and thereby increasing distal runoff.

MASSAGE UNIT AND MASSAGE MACHINE

It is a primary object of the present invention to provide a massage unit and a massage machine which can increase a protruding amount of a massage ball. A massage unit 700 includes a pair of massage elements 350; a forward-backward axis 722 forming a swinging fulcrum point for moving the pair of massage elements 350 toward a body of a person to be treated; and an up-and-down axis 732 for moving the massage unit, wherein the forward-backward axis 722 is formed in parallel with the up-and-down axis 732 and provided nearer to the side of the body of the person to be treated than the up-and-down axis 732.

A DEVICE FOR PASSIVE EXERCISING OF A HUMAN LEG
20230190564 · 2023-06-22 ·

The present disclosure relates to the field of exercising equipment. A device (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) disclosed in the present disclosure increases the reverse blood flow rate, i.e., flow rate of blood from legs towards heart. The device (100, 200 300, 400, 500, 600) includes a pedal (125, 220, 330, 420, 520, 630) configured to support a foot of a leg thereon. The device (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) includes a drive mechanism (140, 250, 350, 530) to oscillate the pedal (125, 220, 330, 420, 520), thereby rocking the foot about the axis of the ankle joint to cause natural movement of the foot as during walking.

Heel protector and corresponding rehabilitation systems and methods for using the same

A device (900) includes a leg engaging section (101) and a foot engaging section (102 intersecting at a heel receiver (103). The leg engaging section and the foot engaging section defining a leg insertion aperture (104). A first compression wrap member (301) and a second compression wrap member (302) extend from the leg engaging section. An inflatable bladder (501) can be disposed along the leg engaging section between the leg insertion aperture and a compressible cushion layer (902). The inflatable bladder can be selectively inflatable through a connection tube (502) exiting the inflatable bladder at a non-orthogonal angle (504) relative to an edge (507) of the inflatable bladder. The leg engaging section can define at least one channel (1002) to permit the connection tube to exit the device.

METHODS FOR TREATING SPASTICITY USING ANTI-SPASMODIC COMPOSITIONS AND NEGATIVE PRESSURE THERAPY
20230190570 · 2023-06-22 ·

A composition, method and related systems for treating and/or preventing spasticity in a patient using negative pressure therapy. The negative pressure therapy may include intermittent application of negative pressure to a limb or portion of a body, such as alternating between periods of negative pressure and ambient pressure. The negative pressure therapy may be applied on a regular basis for a predetermined period, such that an effective amount of negative pressure for treating spasticity and other symptoms of neurogenerative diseases is administered. The negative pressure therapy may be applied to cause intermittent activation of the venous arterial reflex in the body for a sustained period, such that symptoms of neurogenerative diseases are alleviated or prevented.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING DYNAMIC TREATMENT ENVIRONMENTS BASED ON PATIENT INFORMATION

A system that comprises a memory device storing instructions, and a processing device communicatively coupled to the memory device. The processing device executes the instructions to: receive user data obtained from records associated with a user; generate a modified treatment plan based on the user data; and send, to a treatment apparatus accessible to the user, the modified treatment plan, wherein the modified treatment plan causes the treatment apparatus to update at least one operational aspect of the treatment apparatus, and update at least one operational aspect of at least one other device communicatively coupled to the treatment apparatus.
