20200109009 · 2020-04-09 ·

A detector detects the presence of liquid on a conveyed product using optics. The detector comprises a light source adjacent to a conveyor belt for directing a light beam into the conveyor belt body towards a top conveying surface and a light receiver for detecting the light beam after it reflects off of the top conveying surface. A reduction in intensity of the reflected light beam may indicate the presence of wetness on the top conveying surface.

Sensor and sensor system

A hydrogen sensor includes a communication terminal, a plurality of identification terminals, and an ID setting section. The communication terminal is connected to a first communication bus or a second communication bus, and communicate with a vehicle ECU. Each of the plurality of identification terminals is set to either an open state (OPEN) in which the identification terminal is not connected to any potential or a grounded state (GND) in which the identification terminal is connected to a ground potential. The ID setting section sets an identifier in either a standard format or an extended format, according to a difference in the communication bus to which the communication terminal is connected.

Leakage Control System for Spent Fuel Cooling Pool

A leakage detection system for spent fuel cooling pools is related to the field of testing and measurement instrumentation and is aimed at monitoring leakages in the storage facilities, mostly in spent fuel cooling pools at NPPs.

In the leakage detection system for spent fuel cooling pools the welded joints in the pool are additionally fenced with a metal guard which are connected via valve installed tubes to the pipeline, which, in turn, is connected on both of its sides to the leakage collector tank via a receiving valve and a return valve. The leakage collector tank is equipped with a level control sensor.

A leakage detection system for spent fuel cooling pools ensures control over airtightness of welded joins in the pool and allows for detection of leaking welded joints without preliminary emptying the pool which enhances the radiation safety of the pool and reduces the maintenance time.
