LEAKING TANK TESTING DEVICE
A leaking tank testing device, including a main body, a tubing system, including a main tube disposed within at least a portion of the main body, and an intake tube connected at a first end to the main tube to receive contents from a tank container, and a selector rotatably disposed on an outer surface of the main body to select a current mode of operation to compare a current pressure level of the tank container with a predetermined pressure level for normal operation.
High pressure tank device and method of detecting leakage in high pressure tank device
A high pressure tank device includes a high pressure tank configured to supply/discharge a fluid through a supply/discharge channel, a first storage part, a leakage detection sensor provided in the first storage part for detecting leakage of the fluid, and a second storage part. The high pressure tank includes a resin liner, a reinforcement layer which covers an outer surface of the liner, and a cap having a supply/discharge hole. The first storage part can store a first fluid. The first fluid is at least one of the fluid that leaked from the supply/discharge channel and the fluid that leaked through the inside of the supply/discharge hole. The second storage part is provided independently from the first storage part, and can store a second fluid. The second fluid is the fluid that leaked from the outside of the supply/discharge hole.
Apparatus and method for leak testing
It is an object of the present invention to provide same results of leak judgments even if conditions such as temperature and pressure vary as long as sizes of sealing defects are same. A leak device 5 that generates regular leakage under regular temperature and pressure is made communicable with a test path 19 through which a test pressure is provided. A device actual measurement leak value of the leak device 5 is actually measured by a leakage measuring instrument 33. An object actual measurement leak value of a test object 9 is actually measured by the leakage measuring instrument 33. The object actual measurement leak value is converted into a regular-conditions-converted leak value based on the device actual measurement leak value and a leakage is judged based on the regular-conditions-converted leak value.
Method for testing a container for tightness
A method for testing a container (11) having an interior volume (12) for tightness, comprising the following steps: providing the container (11) in a pressure chamber (10) and reducing pressure within the pressure chamber (10) or increasing pressure within the container (11) as far as a predefined test pressure, ascertaining a pressure profile (100) within the pressure chamber (10) over time, comparing the pressure profile (100) to a reference profile (200) in order to determine whether a leak is present within the container (11), wherein ambient conditions of the container (11) and/or the pressure chamber (10) are monitored and the reference profile (200) is adapted to changing ambient conditions.
LEAK TEST MACHINE FOR CYLINDER HEAD, ENGINE BLOCK, OR A SIMILAR WORKPIECE
A flexible leak testing machine for tightness testing of a cylinder head, an engine block or similar workpiece has at least one sealing plate, a machine frame with at least one workpiece holding device for the workpiece and an adjusting device with a first drive for bringing together the workpiece and the sealing plate into a test position. The leak testing machine is flexibly usable in that it includes a changeover device for sealing plates. The changeover device has an adjustable holding arrangement on the machine frame, with sealing plate holders and an associated drive for sealing plate changeover.
Device and method for calibrating a film chamber for leak detection
A method for calibrating a test chamber, which encloses an interior volume (20), is designed as a film chamber (12) comprising at least one flexible wall region (14, 16), and is connected in a gas-conducting way to a pressure sensor (30), to a vacuum pump (26), and via a calibration valve (34) to a calibration chamber (36) enclosing a calibration volume (37), comprising the following steps: evacuating the film chamber (12); measuring the pressure difference inside of the film chamber (12); after the evacuation has been completed, connecting the calibration volume (37) in a gas-conducting manner to the interior volume (20) of the film chamber (12) while measuring the pressure change, wherein the pressure in the calibration chamber (36) is greater than the pressure in the film chamber (12) before the connection to the film chamber (12). A corresponding device is likewise disclosed.
Testing device and method for testing the tightness of containers
The invention relates to a testing device for testing the tightness of containers (2), comprising a supply unit (3) for supplying the containers (2), a testing unit (4) for testing the tightness of the containers (2), a diverting unit (5) for diverting tested tight containers (2), and a discharge unit (6) for discharging containers (2) tested to be untight in the testing unit (2). The testing unit (4) has at least one individual testing chamber (42) for testing individual containers and at least one multiple testing chamber (41) for receiving a plurality of containers in order to simultaneously test multiple containers (2). The testing device also comprises a control unit (10) which is designed to supply possibly untight containers (2) which have been discharged by means of the discharge unit (6) from a multiple testing chamber (41) individually back into an individual testing chamber (42) in order to carry out an individual test of said containers.
