The portable compression system further includes a disposable sleeve barrier configured to provide a physical barrier between the outer cuff and the portion of the patient's body.
PHYSIOTHERAPY INSTRUMENT FOR HUMAN BODY FACET JOINT INFLAMMATION
A physiotherapy instrument for human body facet joint inflammation includes a rigid therapy cavity and a negative pressure generation control system. The rigid therapy cavity is provided with at least one opening for a limb to enter and leave. The rigid therapy cavity is connected to the negative pressure generation control system by an air passage. The rigid therapy cavity is L-shaped, to allow a partial thigh above a knee of a limb and a partial or entire shank below the knee to be put in after bending, and allow a partial arm above an elbow of a limb and a partial or entire forearm below the elbow to be put in after bending. The L-shaped therapy cavity is composed of several parts fitted with each other to form a whole. The opening of the rigid therapy cavity and the limb are fixed by a sealed connecting component.
Air pressure massager
An air pressure massager includes at least one pressure field generating device. The pressure field generating device includes a chamber with at least one first opening, a connecting rod member connected to one end of the chamber, an eccentric member connected to the connecting rod member, a driving unit connected with the eccentric member, a control device configured to activate the drive unit, and an accessory. The first opening is configured to be placed on a portion of a human body. The driving unit drives the eccentric member to move to drive the connecting rod member to move, such that a volume of the chamber is changed to generate a pressure field for stimulating the human body. The pressure field generated in the chamber directly towards the portion of the human body. The pressure field is adjusted by a positive pressure mode and/or a negative pressure mode.
SIMULATED SHAFT-STIMULATION DEVICE
A product may include a mold assembly comprising a mold inner tube, a mold outer tube, a first end cap, and a second end cap, and an inner texture sleeve; a cured mold product comprising about 20 parts by weight of a dry powder and about 540 parts by weight of water; and at least one sleeve positioned circumferentially around the cured mold product being constructed and arranged to provide constrictive force on the cured mold product.
Systems and methods for automated fluid response measurement
A device is provided for automatically assessing functional hemodynamic properties of a patient is provided, the device comprising: a housing; an ultrasound unit coupled to the housing and adapted for adducing ultrasonic waves into the patient at a vessel; a detector adapted to sense signals obtained as a result of adducing ultrasonic waves into the patient at the vessel and to record the; and a processor adapted for receiving the recorded signals as data and transforming the data for output at an interface. Other devices, systems, methods, and/or computer-readable media may be provided in relation to assessing functional hemodynamics of a patient.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THERAPEUTIC GAS TREATMENT
A handheld therapeutic apparatus and method of treatment are disclosed. In one example, the apparatus includes a valve system, a detachable gas cartridge housing unit that houses a gas cartridge or gas delivery from an outside gas cylinder in fluid communication with said valve system, a detachable treatment receptacle for the delivery of gas therapies is in fluid communication with said valve system, and a detachable nozzle in fluid communication with said valve system.
Portable, reusable, and disposable intermittent pneumatic compression system
The present invention discloses a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) device that is portable, tubeless, and battery-operated, which ensures that the patient will have maximum mobility during recovery. The DVT device provides a pneumatically controlled bladder portion, which is actuated by an electronically controlled air pump, where the pump/bladder combination is enclosed in a pocket of a wrap or cuff during use. All pump, battery, and control components are protectively housed in a plastic case that is permanently attached to the bladder portion. Once the pump/bladder combination is placed in the pocket the wrap or cuff will be sealed. The wraps or cuffs are single use, disposable garments designed to provide an absorbent barrier during use, where the bladder portion and air pump remain clean during use and can be reused by the patient or hospital staff. Tabs or extensions may be used to secure the pump/bladder combination after insertion into the pocket of the wrap or cuff.
NEUROMODULATION FOR TREATMENT OF RETINAL, CHOROIDAL AND OPTIC NERVE DISORDERS AND/OR DYSREGULATED REDUCED OCULAR BLOOD FLOW (OBF)
Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for non-invasive neuromodulation system for treating inherited or acquired retinal, choroidal and optic nerve disorders caused by acute or chronic dysregulated reduced ocular blood flow (OBF) and/or energy failure by up regulation of trigemino-vascular system (TVS), trigeminal autonomic brain reflexes (TABRs) and pancreatic trigemino-vagal reflex (TVR) through stimulation of ophthalmic nerve (V1), more specifically but not limited to SP, and CGRP containing unmyelinated C nerve fibers. The invention, in some embodiments thereof, relates to the methods for enhancing SP and CGRP expression in neurovascular tissue of the retina and choroid. The invention, in some embodiments thereof, relates to SP/CGRP mediated pathways, including those involved in vasodilatation, augmentation of OBF, RPE proliferation, prevention of apoptosis, suppressing neuroinflammation, promoting migration and differentiation of vascular endothelial cells as well as mobilization of endogenous mesenchymal stem cells (EMSCs) from the bone marrow to the circulation to accelerate tissue repair. The site of stimulation of V1 nerve includes but not limited to; nasal vestibule nasal bridge, forehead, and upper eyelids. Additionally or alternatively, the subject's sympathetic nervous system (SNS) is down regulated by sympatholytic agents specifically antioxidants. The subject's TVS and autonomic nervous system (ANS) are modulated in a manner that is effective to treat the subject for retinal, choroidal and/or optic nerve disorders. In some embodiments, the devices are handheld, portable with nose supported, having one or more intra-nasal or extra-nasal application heads. The signal can include vibration, chemical, ultrasonic, optical, electrical, hybrid electro-optical or combination of two or more of these types of stimuli. The invention, in some embodiments thereof, relates to a method for decreasing vascular resistance, enhancing vasodilatation in ophthalmic artery and its branches by the release of Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP),substance P and CGRP thereof increasing OBF to the retina, choroid and optic nerve in subject's with acute or chronic dysregulated, reduced OBF. The invention, in some embodiments thereof, is also related to the methods for improving delivery of oxygen, glucose, vitamin A, humoral mediators, growth factors, stem cells and pharmacological agents to the targeted tissues of the retina, choroid and optic nerve. The invention, in some embodiments thereof, relates to the methods for improving pancreatic insulin secretion, thereof to enhance glucose uptake by PRs and other retinal cells. Additionally or alternatively, the inve
