Slider for Slide Fastener
There is provided a slider for a slide fastener. A slider body includes an upper blade disposed at a front side of the slider body, which is a pull-tab attachment side, a lower blade disposed at a back side of the slider body, which is opposite to the front side, and a connecting post connecting the upper blade and the lower blade to each other. A fibrous fabric sheet is integrally fixed to a back surface of the lower blade at the back side, with an adhesive layer being interposed between the fibrous fabric sheet and the back surface of the lower blade.

Analog control systems and methods for adaptive apparel
An adaptive support garment integrating directional fabrics to assist in providing adaptive support to select portions of the garment is discussed herein. The adaptive support garment can include a first directional fabric, a second directional fabric, and a tension device. The first directional fabric includes first directional fibers, and the first directional fabric can be coupled to a fixed portion of the adaptive support garment. The second directional fabric includes second directional fibers, and the second directional fabric can be coupled to a movable control structure portion of the adaptive support garment. The tension device can be coupled to the movable control structure and configured to apply a tension in a first direction on the movable control structure. In operation, the first directional fibers can engage with the second directional fibers to resist movement in a second direction opposite the first direction.
String adjustment device
The present invention discloses a string adjuster that can adjust the length of a string by winding the string. A string adjuster of the present invention includes a fixed unit and a rotation unit, in which a knob of the rotation unit includes a first extension having a counter-anti-separator formed on the interior circumferential surface and preventing separation from a housing, a second extension having a winding determination protrusion formed on the interior circumferential surface and determining winding and releasing modes, and a spacing groove formed between the first extension and the second extension.
Single pull and double pull fit adjustment system for shoes
A system for securing shoes to the feet utilizing a one or two pull fit adjustment set of straps. The embodiments utilize a number of straps, some variable in length, positioned at select points across and around the top and sides of the shoe. At least one strap in the system provides an adjustable length whereby all straps may be drawn together to tighten the shoe, preferably in both a horizontal and a vertical direction across the profile of the shoe. The system utilizes a variety of strong, lightweight, nylon buckles, strips, anchor loops, permitting attachment and motion of the adjustment straps over the top and sides of the shoe. Included are three-point attachment embodiments, as well as two-point attachment embodiments, most with a one pull adjustment structure. Most embodiments are on the medial side of the shoe although some may be implemented on the lateral side.
Adjustable Placket Closure System
An adjustable placket closure system is attached to a device at a placket formed in the material of the device. First and second fasteners of the closure system attach to the first and second sides of the placket at the placket opening, and each may include releasable portion(s) and fixed portion(s) thereof. The releasable portions of the fasteners are selectively released from the placket sides to provide access beneath the device without disengaging the fixed portions, opening the entire placket or removing the device. The device may be a medical device or garment. An access slit provided in the garment accommodates a medical tube apparatus, such as a central line, and passes the tube through the garment. This system may further be used on other materials and containers beyond garments, such as adaptive clothing and bags.
Two-Piece Detachable Coverall Device
A two-piece detachable coverall device is provided. The device is comprised of a coverall body comprised of an upper half and a lower half. The halves can be separated via a set of reciprocating fasteners. The upper half covers the torso, while the lower half covers the legs, each with adjustable fasteners for tightening. The separable design of the halves allows easy use of the restroom without having to remove the entire garment and/or a portion of the garment completely. This method of use involves detaching the upper and lower halves, using the restroom, and then reattaching the halves once finished.

Various fastening systems for an object (e.g., a wearable such as footwear) are disclosed, including a buckle assembly and a prong for adjusting tension. The buckle assembly may a pawl. The prong includes an array of teeth to engage with the pawl formed on the base. The fastening system is configurable between an engaged condition and a released condition based on the positioning of the slider relative to the base.
