SPECTROSCOPIC ANALYZER AND SPECTROSCOPIC ANALYSIS METHOD
The present invention is a spectroscopic analyzer that when measuring the concentration of a predetermined component contained in sample gas in a reduced pressure state lower than atmospheric pressure, obtains the concentration of the predetermined component with accuracy. The spectroscopic analyzer is one that measures the absorbance of the predetermined component contained in the sample gas in a reduced pressure state lower than atmospheric pressure, and calculates the concentration of the predetermined component with use of a calibration curve indicating the relationship between the absorbance of the predetermined component and the concentration of the predetermined component and a relational expression between the pressure of the sample gas at the time of the measurement and the concentration of the predetermined component. In addition, in a graph with one axis as pressure axis and the other axis as concentration axis, the relational expression has an intersection point other than zero with the pressure axis.

Controlled combustion system
The invention relates to a controlled combustion system for the simultaneous analysis of the thermodynamic efficiency of combustion and total polluting emissions in solids with combustible potential, including: a pre-chamber, a combustion chamber, a heat transfer unit which includes a connection for a device that analyses combustion gases to determine the performance of combustion and burning, and a unit for storing the combustion emissions, which comprises a container for storing the sample and a means of collecting samples for the simultaneous collection of gases and particulate matter for analyzing the combustion emissions.
Gas sensor element, heater and gas sensor
Disclosed is a gas sensor element having an electrode containing a first metal as a predominant component and a lead containing a second metal as a predominant component. The electrode and the lead are connected directly at a connection boundary thereof, or connected indirectly via a connection joint. The connection boundary or joint includes a component region where either one of the first and second metals lower in specific gravity than the other of the first and second metals is contained in an amount ranging between those in the electrode and the lead.
Insulating grip and apparatus for a gas sensor
In a gas sensor, not only a tube 70 covers lead wires 48, but also the tube 70 covers an outer peripheral surface of an end portion of an outer cylinder 46 including an open end 46a. A portion of the outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 46 covered with the tube 70 is gripped by a clamp 80. Thus, the clamp 80 integrally grips the tube 70 and the outer cylinder 46. Moreover, the tube 70 protrudes from the clamp 80 to a side of the outer cylinder 46 opposite from the open end 46a (protrusion amount L>0). Further, the open end 46a of the outer cylinder 46 forms a large-diameter portion whose outer diameter is larger than an inner diameter D1 of the clamp 80.
MULTIPLE REFLECTION TYPE CELL AND ANALYZER
This invention is a multiple reflection type cell that makes it possible to reduce a dead space resulting from a position adjusting mechanism and to adjust the light to a desired optical path length without complicating a structure. The multiple reflection type cell comprises a cell body where a cell chamber is formed, two or more reflecting members that are mounted on the cell body and whose reflecting surfaces locate in the cell chamber, and a position adjusting mechanism that adjusts a position of the reflecting member relative to the cell body. The cell body has a mounting part that communicates the cell chamber and the outside and on which the reflecting members are mounted. A seal member that seals a gap between the cell chamber and the outside of the cell body is arranged between the reflecting member mounted on the mounting part and the cell body so that the gap between the cell chamber and the outsider of the cell body is sealed by the seal member.
INSPECTION APPARATUS FOR GAS SENSOR
An inspection apparatus capable of performing responsivity inspection on a plurality of gas sensors at equivalent accuracies is provided. The inspection apparatus includes a plurality of inspected sensor disposing parts that are provided halfway through one gas flow path at equal intervals in an extending direction of the flow path and in each of which a gas sensor to be inspected is disposed, and a plurality of straightening plates provided upstream of each of the inspected sensor disposing parts on the gas flow path and separated at a constant distance from the inspected sensor disposing parts. The straightening plates each include a rectangular opening orthogonal to the gas flow path and open to the gas flow path. When the gas flow path extends in one direction in a horizontal plane, the opening has a longitudinal direction along a direction orthogonal to the one direction in the horizontal plane.
Metal Oxide Based Sensors for Sensing Low Concentration of Specific Gases Prepared by A Flame Based Process
Improved sensor assemblies are provided. More particularly, the present disclosure provides improved and highly advantageous metal oxide based sensor assemblies configured to sense low concentration of specific gases, and related methods of use. The present disclosure provides improved physical forms of metal oxide films (e.g., WO.sub.x films, CeO.sub.x films). The exemplary metal oxide films can be fabricated by a Reactive Spray Deposition Technology (RSDT). The highly advantageous films/materials can be utilized in sensor assemblies to detect simple chemical components of the breath that correlate with human health conditions (e.g., the presence of acetone in diabetic patients). These films/materials demonstrate improved thermal stability under the sensor's operating conditions, as well as improved sensitivity to low concentration of the analyte, selectivity and quick responsiveness.
