EYE-RELATED INTRABODY PRESSURE IDENTIFICATION AND MODIFICATION
An apparatus for at least one of diagnosing or treating an eye condition can include a goggle enclosure, sized and shaped to be seated on an eye socket of an eye to provide one or more cavities within the enclosure that extend about an entire exposed anterior portion of the eye, a pump, in fluidic communication with the one or more cavities to apply a fluid pressure to the one or more cavities, the pump configured to adjust a fluid pressure within the one or more cavities of the goggle enclosure, and a control circuit, including a data interface to receive data directly or indirectly indicating at least one of an intraorbital pressure, ICP, IOP, or a relationship between ICP and IOP, and based on processing the received data as a feedback control variable, controlling the pump to adjust the fluid pressure within the one or more cavities, the controlling including using further monitoring of the received data to control the pump.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VESTIBULAR REHABILITATION
Systems and methods for controlling, conducting, and/or performing vestibular rehabilitation exercises. The individual performing a vestibular rehabilitation exercise progresses through the exercise by selecting target word or picture representations that are sequentially presented on a display. When read sequentially, the target word or picture representations form at least a portion of a phrase, a sentence, or a visual message. In use, a given exercise can correspond to the selection of a series of correct word or picture representations that correspond to the displayed target word or picture representations and form a book or story.
ION PULSE TREATMENT APPARATUS FOR EYES
The present invention discloses an ion pulse treatment apparatus for eye, which includes a carrier for carrying conductor elements to the eye acupoint regions; a power supply provided on the carrier and electrically connected to a control board; a high voltage generating element on the carrier and electrically connected to the control board; and two conductor elements carried by the carrier and used for treatment, wherein the two conductor elements are provided to contact with the surface skin of the eye acupoint regions, wherein one conductor element of the two conductor elements is electrically connected to a ground terminal of the high voltage generating element, and the other conductor element is electrically connected to a high voltage terminal of the high voltage generating element, wherein the negative ions(electrons) generated by the ion pulse treatment apparatus for eye of the present invention have the function of promoting microcirculation in the eye regions after entering the eye acupoint regions, so as to accelerate cell metabolism, effectively relieve eye fatigue, and promote eye health.
Lighting system for simulating conditions of color deficient vision and demonstrating effectiveness of color-blindness compensating eyewear
The invention generally relates to devices that demonstrate the function of ophthalmic lenses that modify human color perception and to methods and devices that simulate color vision deficiency or color blindness.
Therapeutic ultrasound for eye disorders
Methods and devices are described which allow sound waves to be safely be applied to the eyelid of an eye of a patient or through the eyelid to other structures in the eye or to or through structures in the facial region to effect changes to one or more structures in and around the eye or directly through the cornea or sclera to regions of the eye to treat one or more diseases of the eye.
VOICE-CUE BASED MOTORIZED SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM
Voice-cue based motorized skin treatment system is presented. In an embodiment, a skin treatment device includes: an audible instruction unit including memory configured to store a plurality of audio files associated with a plurality of voice cues, and a processor electrically coupled with the memory. The processor is configured to determine which voice cues of the plurality of voice cues are to be audibly presented to a user based one or more inputs indicative of a skin treatment type. An audio unit electrically is coupled with the audible instruction unit. The audio unit is configured to receive the determined voice cues from the processor and to audibly present the determined voice cues, where the determined voice cues include verbal guidance for operating the skin treatment device.
DEVICE
The present invention provides a device comprising a housing assembly comprising a housing, a control means and a vibratory means; and a head assembly, wherein the housing assembly and the head assembly are separately formed and comprise complementary features that together form a releasable coupling means for coupling the housing assembly and the head assembly, wherein the vibratory means has a first vibration setting at which the vibratory means does not vibrate, a second vibration setting at which the vibratory means vibrates at between 100 and 200 Hz and a third vibration setting at which the vibratory means vibrates at between 200 and 300 Hz, and wherein the control means controls the level of vibration created by the vibratory means by switching the vibratory means between the first, second and third vibration settings.
LIGHT CONTROL DEVICES AND METHODS FOR REGIONAL VARIATION OF VISUAL INFORMATION AND SAMPLING
Exemplary light control devices and methods provide a regional variation of visual information and sampling (V-VIS) of an ocular field of view that improves or stabilizes vision, ameliorates a visual symptom, reduces the rate of vision loss, or reduces the progression of an ophthalmic or neurologic condition, disease, injury or disorder. The V-VIS devices and methods generate a moving aperture effect anterior to a retina that samples and delivers to the retina environmental light from an ocular field of view at a sampling rate between 50 hertz and 50 kilohertz. Certain of these V-VIS devices and methods may be combined with augmented or virtual reality, vision measurement, vision monitoring, or other therapies including, but not limited to, pharmacological, gene, retinal replacement and stem cell therapies.
System and method for vision testing and/or training
A system for vision testing and/or training of a user is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system includes an eye movement tracking device, a visual display device having an output screen, and a data processing device operatively coupled to the eye movement tracking device and the visual display device. The data processing device being programmed to generate and display the at least one visual object on the output screen of the visual display device; displace the at least one visual object across the output screen of the visual display device; and determine, based upon the signal received from the eye movement tracking device, whether the user is able to accurately track the at least one visual object as the at least one visual object is displaced across the output screen of the visual display device.
Therapeutic training device for autism
A therapeutic training device configured to be worn on the face of a therapist and capable of displaying media content to a patient with ASD, wherein a level of the displayed media content may be adjusted to permit the patient to see the eyes of the therapist through the media content.
