The eyeshade is provided with two massage boards, and the two massage boards are arranged symmetrically and move synchronously. The eyeshade includes an eyeshade casing, the two massage boards are located on an outer wall of an inner side of the eyeshade casing, and the eyeshade casing is provided therein with a driving assembly configured to drive the two massage boards. The driving assembly includes a motor, a gear assembly driven by the motor, a transmission shaft driven via the gear assembly, and two eccenter assemblies arranged at two ends of the transmission shaft respectively. The two massage boards are respectively fixed on the two eccenter assemblies, and are enabled to swing when being driven by the eccenter assemblies.
REFLEXOLOGY APPARATUS
A reflexology apparatus is described. In some examples, the reflexology apparatus can include a frame portion and one or more pressure point nodes attached to the frame portion. The reflexology apparatus can also include a removable sleeve portion that covers at least part of the frame portion and has one or more pressure point nodes attached to the removable sleeve portion.
SCREENING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus for screening, treatment, monitoring and/or assessment of visual impairments, comprising electronic means for simultaneously applying two separate and unrelated processing methods to images presented to a patient's eyes; a first processing method being applied to an non-amblyopic eye (the eye with the better vision), and a second processing method being applied to an amblyopic eye (the weaker eye, or the impaired eye). A method for screening, treatment, monitoring and/or assessment of visual impairments, comprising: a. defining a starting point, wherein differences between a patient's eyes are completely, or as closely as practically possible, corrected, to enable two identical or similar images to be transferred to the brain from the patient's eyes; b. defining an ending point, wherein there is no correction applied to any of the patient's eyes; c. defining a screening, treatment, monitoring and/or assessment plan, for initially applying correction to images according to the starting point, then gradually reducing the correction, at a controlled and predetermined rate, towards the ending point; and d. applying the plan to images presented to the patient's eyes, while monitoring patient's performance.
Meibomian Gland Roller
A Meibomian Gland Roller system allows for self-administered the treatment for a leading cause of dry eyes, namely, tear film oil deficiency. The system combines an effective and safe technique to combine mechanical rolling pressure with heat for meibomian gland drainage. The rolling action of the roller cylinder combined with the roller head to increase effectiveness in empting inspis sated meibomian glands. The roller allows the patient to safely start the application of the pressure at the bottom of the glands and effectively roll open clogged oil glands. The washable roller keeps the head clean for long term use. A preheated eye-shaped soft gel pad can prepare the lids before the roller tip is applied by heating and softening the meibomian gland contents, allowing the roller to have a more effective action to induce mechanical extraction of the gland content.
Method and device for treating vision impairment
Disclosed is a wearable optical devices for a human subject, comprising: a transparent lens; a wearable frame configured to maintain the lens in front of an eye of a human subject; a transparent pixelated active optical element where the pixels of the active optical element have an optical property with a changeable value; an eye tracker; and a controller configured to set a value for an optical property of the pixels of the active optical element so as to create an image mask through which at least some of the light reaching the eye passes through, thereby modifying the image formed on the retina of the first eye.
System for testing and/or training the vision of a user
A system for testing and/or training the vision of a user is disclosed herein. The system includes a motion sensing device, a visual display device having an output screen, and a data processing device operatively coupled to the motion sensing device and the visual display device. In one embodiment, the data processing device is programmed to generate and display a configuration of a visual object on the visual display device during the same cycle of rotational head displacement when the actual head velocity or speed for the user reaches or exceeds a prescribed threshold percentage of the target velocity or speed. In another embodiment, the data processing device is programmed to increase a value of a prescribed amplitude or period for the head rotational displacement of the user for a successive trial of a test or training routine when a peak head velocity or speed is determined to have increased.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENHANCING OR REHABILITATING THE COGNITIVE SKILLS OF A SUBJECT
A system for enhancing or rehabilitating cognitive skills of a subject includes a wearable optical instrument provided with at least one prismatic lens that diverts a beam of light rays coming from a visual target stimulus to induce a vision perturbation thereof by the subject, and at least one housing seat that rotatably supports the at least one prismatic lens.
Debris Removing Device And Method
A device (10) for removing debris from tissue around an eye is disclosed. The device (10) includes an eyecup (12a) having an opening (20a) and a cavity (18a), wherein the opening (20a) is of a size and shape sufficient to cover the eye. The device also includes an ultrasonic generator (60a) coupled to the eyecup (12a) and is configured to apply ultrasonic energy to a fluid in the eyecup (12a) to remove debris from the tissue. A method of removing debris from tissue around an eye a subject is also disclosed. The method includes covering the subjects eye with an eyecup (12a) having a cavity (18a) and filling the cavity (18a) of the eyecup (12a) with a fluid to bathe the eyelid margin with the fluid. Applying ultrasonic energy to the fluid at a frequency and for a duration sufficient to disrupt debris around the eye.
Therapeutic eye treatment with gases
An apparatus to maintain an environment over an anterior surface of a patient eye can include an enclosure sized and shaped to be seated about the patient eye to form a cavity within the enclosure. The enclosure can be configured to contain a fluid other than ambient air in contact with the patient eye. The apparatus can include a fluid regulator in communication with the enclosure, where the fluid regulator can be configured to regulate the composition of the fluid contained within the enclosure.
