Medication container having an end plug, use of a plug-securing part to secure an end plug in a medication container and plug-securing part
A medicament container for a syringe or carpule has a base body surrounding an interior at least in sections. The base body has a central axis and a proximal opening. An end plug is arranged in the interior such that the end plug in the interior is displaceable along the central axis and separates a first proximal region of the interior from a second distal region of the interior. A plug securing part is at least partially insertable into the second region through the proximal opening. When inserted into the interior, the plug securing part is arranged closer to the proximal opening than the end plug and is fixedly held in the interior by the positive and/or non-positive connection at least in a holding area.
Container for medical liquids and method for filling a container of this type
A container for medical liquids comprises an inner container having a distal end and a proximal end, a first porous separating element being arranged at the proximal end, the first porous separating element delimiting a holding volume for holding a medical liquid, and comprising an outer container, in which the inner container is arranged with the proximal end and with at least portions of the holding volume. The outer container extends around the inner container gas-tight such that a gas under positive pressure can be arranged in a peripheral volume arranged between an outer surface of the inner container and an inner surface of the outer container. An outlet channel section is connected to the distal end of the inner container. At least portions of the outlet channel section are arranged outside of the outer container. A valve device can be arranged in the outlet channel section, which valve device is designed, in an open position, to open a fluid connection between a distal outlet opening of the outlet channel section and the holding volume and, in a closed position, to block the fluid connection between the distal outlet opening and the holding volume.
ANTI-ROTATION CARTRIDGE PIN
A system for inserting a pharmaceutical cartridge into a delivery device is described. The cartridge can be inserted in an arbitrary orientation and the system reorients the cartridge to a locked orientation. For example, a driver applies a torque to the cartridge to cause the reorienting. The torque rotates the cartridge around an axis thereof until the cartridge reaches the locked orientation. When the cartridge reaches the locked orientation, an interference element on the cartridge interlocks with a complementary interference element on the delivery device to lock the cartridge in the locked orientation. Once the cartridge is locked in the second orientation, the torque causes discharge the pharmaceutical.
Medicament Container
The present disclosure relates to a medicament container for accommodating a liquid medicament. The medicament container includes an elongated container barrel defining a longitudinal direction and having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is opposite the distal end. The container barrel includes a proximal container cross section at the proximal end. The elongated container barrel includes a distal container cross section at the distal end and the proximal container cross section is substantially identical to the distal container cross section. The medicament container further includes a seal arranged at the distal end and extending across the distal container cross section, and a retainer engaged with the seal and engaged with the elongated container barrel to fix the seal to the distal end.
Medicine container for storing and providing at least two medicine substances that can be mixed with one another, and method for operating a medicine container of this type
A medicine container for medicine substances which can be mixed with one another includes a container body, a stopper and a mixing element. The container body has a first end with a stopper opening and a second end with a base having an outlet. The stopper is displaceable between the ends. A mixing chamber for receiving the medicine substances is delimited by a portion of an inner casing surface of the container body, a side of the stopper and the base. The mixing element can be disposed in the mixing chamber. The medicine container is adapted to discharge the medicine substances from the medicine container by displacement of the stopper in the direction of the outlet. The stopper is adapted to receive the mixing element at least partially by a recess. The invention further relates to a method for operating such a medicine container.
CARTRIDGE FOR DISPENSING A MATERIAL
A cartridge for dispensing a material, having: a sleeve having a longitudinal axis and a distal wall with a dispensing hole; a barrel defining a chamber for the material, including a proximal open end and a breakable distal wall at its distal end, and being movable in the sleeve between a first position where its distal wall is a distance from the sleeve's distal wall and a second position where its distal wall's sealing portion contacts an inner surface of the sleeve's distal wall; and a piston having a plate movable to seal the barrel's chamber. The sleeve includes an internal piercing element, near the dispensing hole, for breaking the barrel's distal wall upon moving the barrel from the first to the second position. Around the piercing element is an annular cavity delimited peripherally by a beveled inner surface that complements a beveled outer surface of the barrel.
MEDICAL HOLLOW ARTICLE, MEDICAL HOLLOW ARTICLE HAVING A CLOSURE CAP, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MEDICAL HOLLOW ARTICLE, AND KIT
The invention relates to a medical hollow container (1) made of glass, the medical hollow container (1) having a fastening portion (3) and a receiving portion (5), the fastening portion (3) having a shoulder region (7) and having a head region (9), and the head region (9) having an opening (11) on which a closure cap (13) can be arranged. It is provided that the fastening portion (3) has at least one rotation inhibiting structure (15) which is designed to at least inhibit relative rotation between the medical hollow container (1) and the closure cap (13) with respect to each other, the rotation inhibiting structure (15) having at least one rotation inhibiting element (17), the at least one rotation inhibiting element (17) being at least one elevation and/or at least one depression, and/or being designed as a non-circular shape of the opening (11) and/or a non-circular edge of the opening (11).
ADAPTIVE PRIMARY PACKAGING FOR THERAPEUTIC SOLUTIONS
Various container assemblies for containing a therapeutic liquid are provided. A first container assembly comprises a frame having a proximal end and a distal end and includes a plurality of axially extending legs, a collar attached to the plurality of axially extending legs at the proximal end of the frame, and a collapsible film covering the frame and attached to the distal end of the frame and at least a portion of the collar. A second container assembly for a therapeutic liquid comprises a collar and a collapsible film. The collar may comprise a plurality of hingedly connected segments configured to switch from an open configuration to a closed configuration. Buffering Agent Cartridge
A cartridge for dispensing a pre-measured buffering agent together with a medical fluid such as dental anesthetic. The cartridge includes a sharp piercing element at one end, a frangible barrier proximate the piercing element, and a traveling closure. The buffering solution is in a chamber between the barrier and the closure. When loaded into a syringe and subjected to operating pressures, the barrier is pierced, enabling the buffering solution to mix with the medical fluid. Continued pressure propels a desired, controlled mixture into a tissue of a patient. A dye may be included for visual confirmation of mixing. The invention may be regarded as the cartridge, a syringe having the cartridge, or a kit, with or without a syringe, or cartridges having closures of different types.
