A waveguide display disposed in glasses includes a first pupil expander assembly operable to project a first image defined by a first field of view, and a second pupil expander assembly disposed adjacent the first pupil expander assembly and operable to project a second image defined by a second field of view different from the first field of view. The first pupil expander assembly is operable to emit light at a first non-zero angle with respect to a first emission plane associated with the first pupil expander assembly. The second pupil expander assembly is operable to emit light at a second non-zero angle with respect to a second emission plane associated with the second pupil expander assembly. The first non-zero angle is opposite to the second non-zero angle.

Disclosed is a display apparatus including a display panel; and a light source assembly including: a plurality of first light sources disposed in a first region to supply first light toward the display panel; a light guide plate including: incident surface configured to receive second light; and an exit surface facing the display panel and configured to transmit the second light received from the incident surface of the light guide plate to the display panel; and a plurality of second light sources disposed on a periphery of the first region to supply the second light to the incident surface of the light guide plate.
LAMP PANEL ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a lamp panel assembly and a display device comprising the same. The lamp panel assembly includes a plurality of mutually spliced lamp panels. A connecting portion is formed between any two adjacent lamp panels and comprises a convex portion and a concave portion respectively disposed on the two adjacent lamp panels and fitted to each other.
Backlight module and display device
A backlight module and a display device are provided. The backlight module includes a light guide plate and a light collection component. The light collection component includes a light capturing device, the light capturing device has a connection opening, and the connection opening of the light capturing device is configured to introduce the captured light into the light guide plate.
Systems, methods and apparatus for illuminating edge portions of a face of an electronic device display lens
Embodiments provide systems, methods and apparatus for illuminating a portion of the face of a display lens proximate to and along one or more edges of the display lens. The display lens includes a transparent lens having four edges and a face surface. At least one edge includes an angle relative to the face surface configured to reflect light in the lens out of the face surface. Numerous other aspects are provided.
System for waveguide projector with wide field of view
A waveguide display includes a first diffractive input waveguide operable to receive input data from a first projector and diffract image data associated with the first projector at a first angular offset and a second diffractive input waveguide operable to receive input data from a second projector and diffract image data associated with the second projector at a second angular offset. The waveguide display also includes a diffractive output waveguide optically coupled to the first diffractive input waveguide and the second diffractive input waveguide. The diffractive output waveguide receives the image data associated with the first projector and image data associated with the second projector and is operable to direct image data associated with the first projector toward a first field of view and direct image data associated with the second projector toward a second field of view.
LIGHT MODULE AND LIGHTING DEVICE HAVING SAME
A lighting module disclosed in an embodiment comprises: a substrate; a light-emitting element arranged on the substrate; and a resin member arranged on the substrate and the light-emitting element. The resin member comprises a plurality of side surfaces and an exit surface on the upper portion thereof. The plurality of side surfaces of the resin member comprise a first side surface adjacent to the light emitting device, a second side surface facing the first side surface, and third and fourth side surfaces arranged between the first and second side surfaces so as to face each other. The exit surface of the resin member comprises a light extraction structure having a large length in a first direction and having a concavo-convex pattern in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction. The light emitting device comprises an exit area corresponding to a part of the second side surface in the first direction. The thickness of the second side surface, in connection with the resin member, may be smaller than the thickness of the first side surface.

Display device
A display device includes: a first substrate; a display functional layer; a plurality of first electrodes; a light guide plate; a plurality of second electrodes; and a controller configured to control the first and second electrodes. The first substrate, the display functional layer, the first electrodes, the light guide plate, and the second electrodes are stacked in this order. The controller performs operations during a plurality of display periods to display an image, during a first sensing period, and during a second sensing period in a time-division manner. The first electrodes are supplied with a first drive signal and an electromotive force caused by electromagnetic induction is generated in the second electrodes during the first sensing period. The first electrodes are supplied with a second drive signal to generate electrostatic capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrodes during the second sensing period.
Light beam adjusting device, vehicle lamp and motor vehicle
A light beam adjusting device performs a process on at least two kinds of light beams in combination. Through this light beam adjusting device, a part of a first light beam is emitted from a first light exit face and another part thereof may be emitted from a second light exit face. Similarly, a part of the second light beam is also emitted from the first light exit face, and another part thereof may be emitted from the second light exit face. In this way, regardless of whether the first light beam is turned on or the second light beam is turned on, the light adjusted by the light beam adjusting device can be simultaneously emitted from the first light exit face and the second light exit face.
