Toner and process for producing toner
A toner having a toner particle which contains a binder resin, a fatty acid metal salt, and a resin having an ionic functional group, in which the fatty acid metal salt is a fatty acid metal salt of a polyvalent metal with valency of 2 or higher and a fatty acid with carbon atom number of at least 8 and not more than 28, and the acid dissociation constant pKa of the resin having an ionic functional group is at least 6.0 and not more than 9.0.
Toner for development of electrostatic images
The object of the present invention is to provide a toner for development of electrostatic images (hereinafter referred to as toner) which, while preventing dust during fixation, secures improved hot offset resistance and is excellent in providing good image quality. The invention relates to the toner that comprises a binder resin, a colorant and a wax, wherein the wax has, while in a state of being contained in the toner, a melting point of from 55 C. to 90 C., and the value Dt of the toner satisfies a specific formula.

Electrostatic latent image developing toner
An electrostatic latent image developing toner contains a plurality of toner particles each including a toner core and a shell layer disposed over a surface of the toner core. The shell layer has at least one first domain having a film shape and a plurality of second domains each having a particle shape. The first domain is formed substantially from a non-crosslinked resin. The second domains are formed substantially from a crosslinked resin. The crosslinked resin has a glass transition point 45 C. or more greater than the non-crosslinked resin. The first domain has an average height from the surface of the toner core of at least 10 nm and less than 50 nm. The second domains have an average height from the surface of the toner core of at least 50 nm and no greater than 100 nm.
ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER
An electrostatic image developing toner including a toner particle, wherein the toner particle contains a vinyl resin which is a polymer of a vinyl monomer having an acid group, a polyester resin, at least one of aluminum (Al) and magnesium (Mg), and tin (Sn), and when net intensities of Al, Mg and Sn in the toner particle measured by fluorescent X-ray analysis are respectively expressed as I.sub.Al, I.sub.Mg and I.sub.Sn, a ratio (I.sub.Al+I.sub.Mg)/I.sub.Sn is within a range of 0.5 to 2.5.
TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPMENT
The present invention relates to a toner for electrostatic charge image development, including toner base particles containing a binder resin containing as a main component a vinyl resin having a constitutional unit derived from a monomer having an acid group, and aluminum, wherein a concentration of the aluminum in the toner base particles, as measured by radio inductively coupled plasma emission spectral analysis, is from 900 to 2,200 ppm. According to the present invention, there is provided a means for improving the environmental stability of electrification, and the glossiness and the image density of the image to be formed in a good balance while maintaining sufficient low temperature fixability in a toner for electrostatic charge image development.
ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER
An electrostatic latent image developing toner contains a plurality of toner particles each including a toner core and a shell layer disposed over a surface of the toner core. The shell layer has at least one first domain having a film shape and a plurality of second domains each having a particle shape. The first domain is formed substantially from a non-crosslinked resin. The second domains are formed substantially from a crosslinked resin. The crosslinked resin has a glass transition point 45 C. or more greater than the non-crosslinked resin. The first domain has an average height from the surface of the toner core of at least 10 nm and less than 50 nm. The second domains have an average height from the surface of the toner core of at least 50 nm and no greater than 100 nm.
Resin composition for toner, toner, developer and image forming apparatus
A resin composition for a toner including a polyester resin and a colorant, wherein the polyester resin has A(10)-A(180) of 70 or greater, where A(10) (%) is a transmittance of light having a wavelength of 500 nm through a mixture of 20 parts by mass of the polyester resin added to 80 parts by mass of ethyl acetate and stirred at 25 C. for 10 minutes, and A(180) (%) is the transmittance after the mixture is left to stand for 3 hours.
