R—Si(O.sub.1/2).sub.3 (T3) R in the formula represents a prescribed substituent.
Toner
There is provided a toner including toner base particles and an external additive in which the external additive is prevented from being buried in the base particles. The toner can maintain a high transfer efficiency over an extended period of use. The toner includes: (1) toner base particles containing a cycloolefin copolymer and a polyethylene; or (2) toner base particles whose surfaces contain a resin having an elastic deformation rate of 70% or more and a melting temperature of 125.0° C. or less.
TONER
A toner includes a toner particle containing a resin component. The resin component contains an ester group-containing olefin copolymer and an acid group-containing olefin copolymer. For example, the ester group-containing olefin copolymer is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and the acid group-containing olefin copolymer is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer. The acid group-containing olefin copolymer has an acid value of 50 to 300 mg KOH/g. The content of the ester group-containing olefin copolymer in the resin component is 50 mass % or more based on the total mass of the resin component. The content of the unit derived from the vinyl acetate is 3 mass % or more and 35 mass % or less based on the total mass of the ester group-containing olefin copolymer.
TONER
By controlling the migration to the toner particle surface of the crystalline polyester present in the toner particle, a toner is provided that exhibits an excellent durability in long-term use, a stable charging performance after holding in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment, and an excellent low-temperature fixability, in which the toner having a toner particle that contains an amorphous resin, a crystalline polyester, and a wax, wherein the toner particle includes, at the surface thereof, a coat layer containing a cyclic polyolefin resin.
TONER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF, AND TONER STORED UNIT, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
A toner includes toner particles, each including: a toner base particle including a binder resin, a colorant, and wax; and resin particles on a surface of the toner base particle, wherein Formulae 1 to 3 below are satisfied, where M is a volume average primary particle diameter (nm) of the resin particles, and L is a distance (nm) between the resin particles present next to one another on the surface of the toner base particle:
M<L; (Formula 1)
5 (nm)<M≤60 (nm); and (Formula 2)
0.40≤[M (nm)/L (nm)]<0.90. (Formula 3)
