A sheet cooling device includes a main assembly, a cooling unit, drawable out of the main assembly with respect to a drawing direction and a restricting member. The restricting member is positionable in a first position where the cooling unit is restricted from drawing out of the main assembly and in a second position lower than the first position where said restricting member opposes to an installation surface on which the sheet cooling device is installed.

A recording material cooling device includes a belt unit including a rotatable endless belt, belt stretching rollers, and a belt cooling member; a rotatable member for forming a nip between itself and the belt in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the belt and for nipping and feeding a recording material in the nip; a rotating unit capable of rotating the belt unit between a contact position where the belt and the rotatable member are in contact with each other so as to form the nip and a separated position where the belt and the rotatable member are in separation from each other so as to release the nip; and a fan unit including a fan for cooling the cooling member by generating airflow passing through the cooling member, the fan unit being rotatable together with the belt unit.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a first guide plate, a second guide plate, an operation portion provided on the second guide plate, a holding portion configured to hold the second guide plate at a second position, a door being provided to be pivotable between an open state and a close state, a releasing portion configured to abut with the operation portion on the second guide plate positioned at the second position along with a move of the door from the open state to the close state and release the second guide plate held by the holding portion, a pressing portion configured to press the operation portion such that the second guide plate is positioned at a first position, a retraction portion configured to retract the pressing portion from a moving locus of the operation portion in moving the second guide plate from the first position to the second position.

An example image forming apparatus includes, a main body, a first fixing device disposed in the main body to primarily fix a toner image transferred on a printing medium while passing through a transfer device, a first discharge device to discharge the printing medium having passed through the first fixing device from the main body, and a second fixing device disposed in the main body to additionally fix the toner image on the printing medium having passed through the first fixing device, wherein the second fixing device may be supplied with the printing medium through a connection path returning from the first discharge device into the main body and connected to the second fixing device.

A recording material cooling device 20 includes a rotating endless first belt 21 and an endless second belt 25 which forms a cooling nip T4 with the first belt 21 and which nips and feeds the recording material in the cooling nip T4 through rotation. A heat sink 30 for cooling the first belt 21 or the second belt 25 is provided. On the second belt 25 side, a belt cleaning device 90 is provided. The belt cleaning device 90 contacts the second belt 25 and removes a deposited matter such as toner and a wax deposited on the second belt 25. The belt cleaning device is capable of removing the deposited matter deposited on the belt nipping and feeding the recording material for cooling the recording material.

A fixing device includes: a non-contact heating unit configured to heat a recording medium being transported on a transport path in a non-contact manner; a facing member that is disposed along the transport path at a position facing the non-contact heating unit and that is configured to move with respect to the recording medium; and a tension unit configured to tension a facing member in a direction along the transport path.

A heating device according to an embodiment generally includes substrate, blocks, and temperature sensors. The blocks are arranged on the substrate with a gap therebetween in a first direction. The temperature sensors are provided for each of the blocks and detect the temperature of the blocks. The block includes a plurality of first blocks on at least one side in the first direction, and the first block is adjacent to two blocks in the first direction, and the temperature sensor detects temperature of a temperature detection region on the first block, which is closer to the one of the adjacent two blocks being longer in the first direction of the two blocks.

A belt device includes a belt device main body, a first unit, and a second unit. The first unit includes a belt and a support to support the belt. The first unit is configured to detachably attached to the belt device main body. The second unit includes a tensioner abutting the belt. The second unit is configured to be positioned at an operating position at which the tensioner applies tension to the belt when the first unit is attached to the belt device main body and positioned at a releasing position at which the tensioner releases the tension applied to the belt when the first unit is detached from the belt device main body.

A recording material cooling device includes a first unit provided with a first endless belt and a cooling member, a second unit provided with a second endless belt and a supporting member but not provided with a cooling member, a holding member and a fixing member. The holding member is fixed to a supporting frame and rotatably holds the supporting member in order to be rotated by a user. The fixing member fixes the supporting member to the holding member at any rotating position by the user.
