COLORED COSMETIC SOLID DISPERSIONS
Solid pigment dispersions are described which are formulated to a paste consistency during grinding to reduce the pigment particle size and form a dry granular consistency at ambient temperature that is pourable and easy to handle. This allows for stronger, more intense colors and allows for easy integration into a variety cosmetic products. These pigment dispersions are prepared with plant-derived substances, derived from naturally occurring, renewable sources.
CLEANER BASE, CLEANING COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE CLEANING COMPOSITION
Provided are a cleaner base containing a solid composition including a solid surfactant and a water-soluble polymer, a gel cleaning composition having a viscosity of greater than or equal to about 50 cPs including the cleaner base containing a solid composition and water, and a method for preparing the gel cleaning composition.
Decorating powder composition
[Problem] To provide a decorating powder composition for decorating the surface of a solid cosmetic material, in particular, for obtaining a solid cosmetic material having a beautiful appearance which is decorated with a glossy powder, and a decorating method using the decorating powder composition. [Solution] Provided are a decorating powder composition including a glossy powder which has been surface-treated with a silane compound or a silazane compound, and a method for decorating a solid cosmetic material, the method including causing the decorating powder composition to adhere to a printing plate and then bringing the printing plate into contact with a surface of the solid cosmetic material to transfer the decorating powder composition to the surface of the solid cosmetic material and decorate the solid cosmetic material.
USE OF MICA IN PRESSED POWDER
Use of mica having a lamellarity index of less than about 3.0 in a pressed powder, pressed powders comprising said mica, and methods for making said pressed powders.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION WITH OPTIMIZED STARCH AND COSMETIC APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Native or physically or chemically modified starches, consisting of insoluble native particles with a smooth surface, free of edges, harshness, and roughness of any kind, are used as ingredients for cosmetic compositions. The particles can be of a regular spheroidal shape with diameter between 0.1 and 60 microns or of a lenticular/lamellar shape with diameter between 5 and 60 microns and thickness between 0.5 and 15 microns. Using such starches allows obtaining cosmetic compositions with high aesthetic features.
ORGANIC-INORGANIC COMPOSITE POWDER AND COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME
One aspect of the present disclosure is an organic/inorganic composite powder and a composition including the same in which a coating film on a surface of an inorganic powder is not easily fall off under various conditions such as pH, temperature, physical force, etc., so that has excellent moisture retention and less transferring and allows for natural makeup.
Core shell silica particles and use for malodor reduction
The present invention relates to core shell silica particles, wherein each core shell silica particle comprises a silica core, and a surface of the silica core is etched with metal silicate, the core shell silica particles prepared by: i) admixing an amount of silica particles in water with an amount of a base, wherein the base comprises a monovalent metal ion, to produce core shell silica particles, each core shell silica particle comprising a silica core, and a surface of the silica core etched with a silicate of the monovalent metal ion; and ii) reacting the core shell silica particles formed in step i) with a metal salt comprising a second metal ion, to form core shell silica particles comprising silicate of the second metal ion on the surface of the silica core.
HYDRATABLE COSMETIC COMPOSITION
The present invention is directed to a cosmetic composition precursor that is rapidly hydratable and conducive to creating a personalized end-product. This invention thus relates to a cosmetic composition precursor having fatty acid, inorganic base, and high HLB surfactants and methods of using said precursors in creating the end-product. The invention also relates to end-use compositions made from the hydratable cosmetic composition precursor of the invention.
HYBRID COSMETIC PRODUCT CONSISTING OF CREAMY COMPACT POWDER
The invention relates to a cosmetic product in the form of a creamy compact powder containing a) 30-65% by weight, on the basis of the total weight of the product, of a powder phase; b) 35-70% by weight, on the basis of the total weight of the product, of a liquid binder phase consisting of one or more liquid binders. The products according to the invention have hybrid properties between compact powdered products and poured products.
POWDER MATERIAL FOR COSMETIC, METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDER MATERIAL FOR COSMETIC, AND COSMETIC
Provided is a powder material for a cosmetic that has excellent dispersibility in any of silicone oil agents, hydrocarbon oil agents, and ester oil agents, and does not affect the color appearance of a formulation. The powder material for a cosmetic contains a powder for a cosmetic surface-treated with an ester compound of a fatty acid having 8-20 carbon atoms and glycerol. The ester compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of diglyceryl tetraisostearate, diglyceryl triisostearate, glyceryl tri(caprylate/caprate), glyceryl dilaurate, glyceryl triisostearate, decaglyceryl monoisostearate, and decaglyceryl diisostearate.
