Porous-cellulose particles and production method thereof, and cosmetic

The porous-cellulose particles according to the present invention are constituted by gathered crystalline celluloses having a type I crystal form including a glucose molecule as a constitutional unit. That is, porous-cellulose particles having high sphericity have been achieved from a natural raw material. The porous-cellulose particles have an average particle diameter of 0.5 to less than 50 μm, a specific surface area of 50 to 1000 m.sup.2/g, and a sphericity of 0.85 or more. Cosmetic products containing such porous-cellulose particles have excellent texture properties.

POWDER COMPOSITION FOR COSMETICS OR SKIN TOPICAL AGENT, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a powder composition that can be used for cosmetics or skin topical agents and that replaces plastic powder bodies such as a nylon powder body, an acrylic powder body, and a urethane powder body. Provided is a composition which is a powder composition containing (a) acyllysine and (b) cellulose and/or starch, and which has a median diameter of the volume-based distribution of (A) acyllysine of 9 μm or less. The contained amount of (A) is 2-40 mass %, and the contained amount of (B) is 3-95 mass %, with respect to 100 mass % of the total of the powder composition. The total amount of (A) and (B) is 10 mass % or more.

Pigment Composed Of Particles Containing Calcium-Titanium Composite Oxide As Main Component, And Use Thereof

The pigment is composed of particles having a lattice constant a of 5.4700-5.5100 Å and containing a calcium-titanium composite oxide as a main component. The pigment selectively transmit light in a warm-color range, and can be used as an alternative material for titanium oxide. This pigment can be used for a cosmetic, for example.

Modified Formula for Hydrophilic Foam

The present invention provides a modified formula to make a hydrophilic foam. In some embodiments this modified formula adds a filler which causes the foam to become less absorptive, which has the benefit of making available to the skin more makeup or other products, while also providing a superior esthetic application of makeup on the skin. In other embodiments the modified formula makes the hydrophilic foam easier to clean and reduces the staining propensity of the foam. In other embodiments the modified formula uses an additive to the properties or usability of the foam in some way. Providing the filler and additive can be done in combination or separately depending on the desired benefits or properties of the foam. In some embodiments the foam is fashioned into a shape suitable for makeup application.

COSMETIC COMPOSITION HAVING INCREASED SKIN CONTACT AND MAKEUP PERSISTENCE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME

Disclosed are a cosmetic composition having increased skin contact and makeup persistence and a method of manufacturing the same. The method includes: forming a powder continuous phase by rapidly mixing a powder and a film-forming agent; and obtaining a cosmetic composition in which a surface of the powder is compounded with the film-forming agent by heating the powder continuous phase for a predetermined time. In an embodiment, the cosmetic composition is manufactured by the method. In an embodiment, the cosmetic composition includes 5 wt % to 30 wt % of a powder, 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of a film-forming agent, 10 wt % to 30 wt % of a silicone oil, and 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of a spherical powder.
