An object is to provide a cosmetic composition that: has a high soft focus effect, a high skin beautifying effect, and a high moisture retaining effect; is safe; and enables reduction in environmental impact. Yeast cell wall particles retaining shapes of yeast cell walls and having an average particle diameter ranging from 1 to 25 μm are prepared and blended in a cosmetic composition.

The present invention relates to a mesh-type moisture-release cushion cosmetic product and, more specifically, to a mesh-type moisture-release cushion cosmetic product having a cosmetic container, which has a mesh net mounted at the upper part thereof and is filled with a water-in-oil moisture-release cosmetic composition comprising: an oil phase part including wax, oil, and a mixture-emulsifying agent comprising a combination of a main emulsifying agent and an auxiliary emulsifying agent; a water phase part including water; and a powder part including hollow-structured gloss pigments.

Colorant Compositions free of cochineal red are described. The colorant compositions mimic the color of cochineal red and they are stable in the pressure of active materials typically found in cosmetic compositions.

The present invention relates to a composition for a keratin substance, such as skin, comprising: (a) at least one plate type filler having a particle size of 10 μm or less, preferably 5 μm or less, and more preferably 3 μm or less; (b) at least one pearlescent pigment having a particle size of 15 μm or less, preferably 12 μm or less, and more preferably 10 μm or less; and (c) at least one hollow or porous particle, wherein the (a) plate type filler has a refractive index of 2.0 or less, preferably 1.9 or less, and more preferably 1.8 or less, and the (b) pearlescent pigment has a colored reflection. The composition according to the present invention can provide a keratin substance with sufficient coverage of imperfections on the keratin substance, while providing the keratin substance with brightness and natural finish.

The application describes a pigment suspension comprising a) at least one colorant compound selected from the group of pigments and b) at least one phosphoric acid ester. The application also discloses a cosmetic agent obtainable by combining the pigment suspension with one or more organic C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxysilanes and/or condensation products thereof.

Disclosed a method of preparing composite particles comprising a non-porous spherical particulate inorganic material deposited on a plate-like inorganic material, where refractive index of said particulate inorganic material is greater than that of said plate-like inorganic particulate material, wherein, said spherical material occupies 20 to 80% of total surface area of said plate-like material and wherein the amount of said spherical material accounts for 2 to 20 wt % of said composite particles, further wherein said plate-like inorganic material is mica and said non-porous spherical particulate inorganic material is silicone dioxide, said method comprising the steps of: (iv) silanization of said plate-like inorganic material to get a silanized material having functional groups “A”; (v) silanization of said non-porous spherical particulate inorganic material to get a silanized material having functional groups “B”, where A≠B; and where said “A” and said “B” are capable of reacting with each other such that by way of their reaction, said non-porous spherical particulate inorganic material deposits on said plate-like inorganic material; and, (vi) reacting said silanized material having functional groups “A” with said silanized material having functional groups “B”.

Provided is a white pigment for cosmetics capable of giving a cosmetic having an excellent performance smoothly applicable onto the skin. A white pigment for cosmetics of the present invention includes a titanium phosphate powder, the titanium phosphate powder includes crystal particles of titanium phosphate, and the titanium phosphate powder has an average friction coefficient (MIU) of less than 1.45.

The invention relates to a cosmetic composition, in particular in the form of a liquid cosmetic composition, comprising in a physiological medium (i) at least a plate type filler with refractive index>1.6 and having a particle size between 1 μm and 20 μm, preferably between 1 μm and 15 μm, (ii) at least a silicon elastomer, preferably a non-emulsifying silicon elastomer, and (iii) at least a filler having an oil absorption capacity greater than or equal to 1 ml/g. The composition is preferably used as a skin care or make-up base or primer intended to decrease the visibility of skin imperfections, in particular the pores and make the pore hiding effect long lasting.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a powder composition that can be used for cosmetics or skin topical agents and that replaces plastic powder bodies such as a nylon powder body, an acrylic powder body, and a urethane powder body. Provided is a composition which is a powder composition containing (a) acyllysine and (b) cellulose and/or starch, and which has a median diameter of the volume-based distribution of (A) acyllysine of 9 μm or less. The contained amount of (A) is 2-40 mass %, and the contained amount of (B) is 3-95 mass %, with respect to 100 mass % of the total of the powder composition. The total amount of (A) and (B) is 10 mass % or more.

The present invention relates the use of a microfibrillated cellulose as a suspension stabilizer agent, a network structuring agent, or a network structuring additive in the manufacture of a liquid composition having a particulate system. Preferably, the microfibrillated cellulose is present from 0.5% to 5.0% in a stabilized liquid composition. The stabilized liquid composition also has a particulate system, having a plurality of particles, a plurality of capsules or mixtures thereof.
