AGENTS AND METHODS FOR THE TEMPORARY SHAPING OF KERATIN-CONTAINING FIBERS
The invention relates to a cosmetic product, comprising a) a cosmetic preparation, including, in relation to its total weight, a1) 65 to 96 wt % of at least one polar solvent; a2) 0.1 to 34 wt % of at least one inorganic salt; b) a device for flash evaporation of the cosmetic preparation a), and to a method using corresponding products and to the use of the cosmetic preparation a) as process material in a device for flash evaporation.
COMPOSITION COMPRISING STYLING POWDER AND/OR SEBUM-ABSORBING POWDER AND A ZINC SALT
The present invention relates to a composition comprising: a) at least one sebum-absorbing powder with a sebum up-take of greater than or equal to 35 ml/100 g, and/or at least one styling powder; b) at least one zinc salt other than the sebum-absorbing powders with a sebum uptake of greater than or equal to 35 ml/100 g, and/or than the styling powders; c) optionally a propellant. A subject of the present invention is also to a process for the thy-washing and cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, comprising a step of applying the composition to the hair.
CLEANSING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) at least one linear olefin sulfonate; (b) at least one glycerin fatty acid ester; and (c) at least one amphoteric surfactant. The composition according to the present invention can have no irritation or reduced irritation, and superior foam quality, and may be stable, in particular stable over time and/or under elevated temperature. The composition according to the present invention may preferably be a cosmetic composition, and more preferably a cleansing composition, such as a shampoo.
FABRIC CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING EMULSIONS
Fabric care compositions comprising bi-modal water continuous emulsions are disclosed. In particular, the fabric care compositions comprise a bi-modal water continuous emulsion (E) comprising at least 70 weight percent of: a first dispersed phase containing a hydrophobic oil, wherein the hydrophobic oil is provided as a non-emulsified hydrophobic oil, and a second dispersed phase containing a silicone, wherein the silicone is provided from a water continuous silicone emulsion containing at least one surfactant. The fabric care compositions further comprise at least one fabric care ingredient (F). Optionally, the fabric care ingredient (F) is in an acceptable medium. Preparation methods and uses of the fabric care compositions are also disclosed.
THE USE OF SILICONE FLUIDS AS INSECTICIDES
Compositions and methods for treating and preventing arthropod infestation are disclosed. A method of treating an arthropod infestation in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering topically to the subject an effective amount of either an insecticidal composition consisting essentially of at least one essential oil and a pentacyclosiloxane or an insecticidal composition comprising at least one essential oil, a pentacyclosiloxane, and a mineral oil.
HAIR COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Hair spray compositions comprising a liquid carrier, hollow, fluid-filled microspheres, a polymer fixative, and propellant are provided.
Hair styling composition
The present invention is related to a hair styling composition and process for styling keratin fibers, especially for hair. The object of the present invention is an aerosol composition for keratin fibers, especially for hair, based on an aqueous, aqueous-alcoholic or alcoholic medium comprising at least one natural starch and at least one propellant. Compositions according to present invention can furthermore comprise at least one film forming polymer, one or more surfactant, UV filter and direct hair dye.
Method for incorporating active agents into a hydrophilic polymer foam
The present invention consists of a novel process for the incorporation of one or more water-soluble active agents in a hydrophilic polymer foam. Said process makes it possible in particular to obtain a hydrophilic polyurethane foam exhibiting a gradient of active agents. This process is of particular use when manufacturing hydrophilic polyurethane foams intended for medical, cosmetic and dermocosmetic purposes.
COSMETIC HAIR COMPOSITION IN THE FORM OF A NANOEMULSION COMPRISING A PARTICULAR NON-IONIC SURFACTANT AND A PROPELLANT
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in the form of a nanoemulsion comprising at least one particular non-ionic surfactant, at least one fatty substance, water and at least one propellant. The invention also relates to an aerosol device and also to a process for styling keratin fibres using such a composition.
METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY AND PERMANENTLY RESHAPING AND COLORING KERATIN FIBERS
Method for simultaneously and permanently reshaping and coloring keratin fibers, particularly human hairs, in a single process in which the keratinic fibers are first waved by means of a foam-type waving agent (M1) and then lightened or colored by means of a foam-type coloring agent (M2). The permanent wave is simultaneously fixed by the oxidizing agent included in the oxidative dyeing agent. The method according to the invention brings about a uniform waving and coloring result and causes little or no damage to the hair.
