USER INTERFACE DEVICE
A user interface device for controlling a robot manipulator having an end effector comprising at least one movable element, the user interface device comprising: a body for being held by a user, the body comprising an elongate grip portion configured to be gripped by one or more of a user's second to fourth fingers; a trigger extending transversely to the direction of elongation of the grip portion, the trigger being supported by the body so as to be capable of rotating relative to the body about a rotation axis passing through the grip portion; and a drive mechanism at least partially housed in the grip portion, the drive mechanism being coupled to the trigger for applying a torque to the trigger.
Tri-axial ergonomic footswitch
A foot-operated controller includes a base configured to rest on a floor surface, and a movable contact surface coupled to the base. The contact surface includes an anterior region to support a toe region and a posterior region to support a heel region, and is configured to roll about a roll axis in response to inversion or eversion of a foot engaged with the contact surface, pitch about a pitch axis in response to plantar flexion or dorsiflexion of the foot, and yaw about a yaw axis in response to abduction or adduction of the foot. The roll, pitch, and yaw axes intersect at a point superior to the contact surface, and may align with the operator's ankle.
CONTROLLER WITH SITUATIONAL AWARENESS DISPLAY
A hand controller for commanding or controlling a target, such as a remote vehicle or a virtual target, includes a display mounted on a free end of a joystick for indicating graphically a direction of the remote vehicle from the hand controller and an orientation of the target relative to the hand controller's frame of reference, based on the location and orientation of the target received by the hand controller from the target and the location and orientation of the hand controller.
CAMERA AND SENSOR CONTROLS FOR REMOTELY OPERATED VEHICLES AND VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS
A hand controller that includes a control member mounted on a hand held base for commanding a remote vehicle or movement of a virtual object within a virtual environment includes an input device mounted for generating tilt commands for a sensor mounted on the remote vehicle or the virtual object, the input device being located on a front of the base and oriented to be displaced up and down to tilt the sensor or the virtual point of view when the base is held during operation.
MASTER CONTROL DEVICE WITH MULTI-FINGER GRIP AND METHODS THEREFOR
Implementations relate to a master control device. In some implementations, a master control device includes a thumb grip member including a thumb grip receptive to a thumb of a hand of a user. The master control device includes a finger grip member coupled to the thumb grip member at a proximal end of the master control device and extending toward a distal end of the master control device, where the finger grip member includes a finger grip receptive to multiple fingers of the hand. The thumb grip member and finger grip member are movable in a pinching configuration with respect to each other. The master control device includes a sensor coupled to at least one of the thumb grip member or finger grip member to sense relative positions of the thumb grip member and finger grip member with respect to each other in the pinching configuration.
REDUNDANT AND DISSIMILAR SYSTEM FOR MONITORING THE STATUS OF CONTROL CONTACTORS OF AN AIRCRAFT CONTROL STICK
A redundant and dissimilar system for monitoring the status of contactors of an aircraft control stick. This monitoring system comprises at least one electrical power source, at least one processor and several circuits for monitoring the status of the switches of the contactors. Each monitoring circuit comprises and electrical power source, a switch for each contactor, the switches of a contactor being connected to each other, and an electronic assembly provided with receivers arranged in series with each other. Each switch is arranged in parallel with at least one receiver so as to short-circuit the at least one receiver when the switch is in the closed state. Each processor measures and analyses an electrical feature of the electronic assembly, such as a mains voltage VE as the terminals of the electronics assembly, in order to determine the status of each switch.
Operation lever and work vehicle
An operation lever of a work vehicle has the operation surface including: a connection portion; a front operation surface extending obliquely so that a height from a reference plane increases from the connection portion toward the forward side of the connection portion in a cross-sectional view including a front-rear directions and a front-side edge of the operation surface being defined as a front-side top portion; and a rear operation surface connected to the front operation surface, extending obliquely so that a height from the reference plane increases from the connection portion toward the backward side of the connection portion and a rear-side edge of the operation surface being defined as a rear-side top portion. A length in front-rear directions along the reference plane in the front operation surface is larger than a length in the front-rear directions along the reference plane in the rear operation surface.
Multi-degrees-of-freedom hand held controller
A controller including a first control member and a second control member that extends from a portion of the first control member. A controller processor is operable to produce a rotational movement output signal in response to movement of the first control member, and a translational movement output signal in response to movement of the second control member relative to the first control member. The first control member may be gripped and moved using a single hand, and the second control member may be moved using the thumb of the single hand.
COMBINED FUNCTION JOYSTICK FOR DRILLING MACHINE AND RELATED METHOD
An apparatus for drilling with a drilling machine including a boom for supporting a drill and a feed for feeding the drill. A single joystick is adapted for controlling the movement of the boom and the feed independently or together, such as according to different protocols (e.g., for causing movement of the boom and feed in the same direction, or in different directions). Related methods are also disclosed.
