INTERACTIVE LEARNING DESK WITH DOCUMENT CAMERA
The present invention provides a smart, electronic desk to facilitate and improve interactive learning. The desk comprises a student desk having a table, a computer such as a tablet having a touch-screen interface, and a document camera all integrated together. The interface displays electronic information to the student and provides a graphic user interface that allows the student to interact with programs or apps through graphical icons and visual indicators. The document camera, also known as a visual presenter, captures images and/or video of documents or other objects placed on the table. The computer comprises a bilateral communications interface to communicate information such as, but not limited to video, between the computer and optional document camera at the electronic desk, and any number of other computers.
Convertible computing device
An apparatus may include a first panel having a first user interface that includes a keyboard. The apparatus may also include a second panel coupled via a hinge to the first panel in a clamshell structure. The second panel may include a first display side to present information in a first display mode when the apparatus is arranged in an open position, and a second display side to present information in a second display mode when the apparatus is arranged in a closed position. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.
Portable communication device
A portable communication device for multimedia applications including upper and lower parts connected by a joint element for moving the parts relative to each other between closed and various open positions. The upper part includes a display which is on the outside of the closed device. The joint element enables pivoting the upper part along a horizontal axis disposed below the plane of the display in a position that is shifted parallel outward or inward relative to the upper part as well as rotational motion of the parts relative to each other about a rotational axis which is tilted relative to the plane of the display, the motion being made when the rotational axis comes to a position perpendicular to the horizontal axis as a result of the pivoting motion. Optimum display and keypad size for PC use, slimmer design, and additional space for multimedia components are attained.
Locking arms for computing devices
A computing device may include a base member, a display member, a first hinge, a second hinge, a stop, and a locking arm. The first hinge may be attached to the base member to rotate the base member and the display member relative to each other about a first pivotal axis of rotation. A second hinge may be attached between the first hinge and the display member to rotate the base member and the display member relative to each other about a second pivotal axis of rotation to transition the computing device between a laptop mode and a tablet mode. The stop may be in the first hinge. The locking arm may be to engage the stop when the computing device is in the tablet mode to limit rotation of the base member and the display member relative to each other about the first pivotal axis.
MODULAR ULTRASOUND SYSTEM
An ultrasound system includes a display, an actuator, a user interface, and a processing circuit. The actuator is configured to control at least one of a position or an orientation of the display. The user interface is configured to receive a user input. The processing circuit is configured to cause the actuator to adjust the at least one of the position or orientation of the display based on the user input.
Flexible display device
The present disclosure relates to a flexible display device including a first body; a second body configured to be relatively movable with respect to the first body; a flexible display disposed on a front surface of the first body and a rear surface of the second body, and configured to vary in size of areas that are exposed to the front surface of the first body and to the rear surface of the second body as the first body and the second body are relatively moved; and a rear window unit detachably coupled to the rear surface of the second body, and configured to cover the flexible display exposed to the rear surface of the second body.
Information processing device, information processing method and recording medium
An image information memory (132) stores, for each operational object image, a display area, an imaged layer (information indicating which layer the operational object image is disposed in a display hierarchy), and the like in association with one another. When either a first inputter (110A) or a second inputter (110B) detects a contact, a controller (120) specifies the operational object images including the contact position in the display area, and determines, in accordance with which one of the first inputter (110A) and the second inputter (110B) detects the contact, whether to operate the image disposed on an upper imaged layer among the specified operational object images or to operate the image disposed on the lower imaged layer.
Magnets at display component and base
A computing device with a hinge coupled to a display component and to a base for the display component to reposition relative to the base, a first set of magnets at first locations of the display component and the base, and a second set of magnets at second locations of the display component and the base.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display module including a folding area, a plate which is under the display module and includes a bending portion corresponding to the folding area and a plurality of openings defined in the bending portion, a first plate and a second plate portion extending from opposing sides of the bending portion, a support layer which is under the bending portion and includes a first support member and a second support member spaced apart from each other, and a cushion layer including a first cushion member corresponding to the first plate portion and a second cushion member corresponding to the second plate portion. Each of the first support member and the second support member has a modulus greater than a modulus of each of the first cushion member and the second cushion member.
Computing Device with a Rotatable Display Member
Examples disclosed herein provide a computing device. One example computing device includes a base member, a support member rotatably connected to the base member at a first end of the support member, and a display member rotatably connected at a second end of the support member opposite the first end of the support member. The computing device includes a kickstand rotatably connected to a back surface of the display member at a first end of the kickstand, and magnetic members to magnetically couple the support member with a second end of the kickstand opposite the first end of the kickstand. When the device is to change from a first operation mode to a second operation mode, the kickstand is to move along the support member via the magnetic coupling.
