Provided is an input device including; a capacitance sensor that has an operation panel to which a detection electrode is fixed, and a capacitance detection circuit, to detect contact of a finger with the operation panel and slide operation with the finger; a push switch that is provided on a back face side of the operation panel to detect push operation on the operation panel; and a control circuit that is connected to the capacitance detection circuit and the push switch. The control circuit outputs a signal of causing a window W to perform manual opening and closing operation when the slide operation with the finger is detected, and outputs a signal of causing the window W to perform automatic fully opening and closing operation when contact of the finger with each of upper and lower end portions of the operation panel is detected and push operation on the operation panel is detected within a predetermined period of time after the contact is detected.

Controller, input device, input system, display apparatus, and control method

A controller includes a position detecting unit, switching unit, vibration controlling unit, and vibration detecting unit. The position detecting unit detecting a contact position with an operation surface. The switching unit switches between vibration and detection modes of at least one vibration element in accordance with temporal change in contact position detected by position detecting unit, the vibration mode being a mode wherein at least one vibration element vibrates, and detection mode being a mode wherein at least one vibration element detects vibration. The vibration controlling unit causes one or more first vibration elements to vibrate so as to vibrate the operation surface, at least one vibration element including one or more first vibration elements. The vibration detecting unit detects an operation surface's vibration based on vibration's detection results detected by one or more second vibration elements, at least one vibration element including the one or more second vibration elements.

Input/output device including sticks for forming one or more buttons

The present invention relates to an input/output device provided in a vehicle, the device including a plurality of sticks arranged in columns in a first direction and rows in a second direction, a driving unit configured to move at least one of the sticks in a direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, and a processor configured to control the driving unit such that the sticks have the same height or different heights from a reference plane defined by the first and second directions, wherein the processor controls the driving unit so that one or more buttons defined by a height difference of the sticks are formed, based on a driving state of the vehicle, and wherein the one or more buttons are varied according to the driving state of the vehicle.

TOUCH SENSITIVE KEYBOARD

A touch sensitive keyboard is disclosed. In one embodiment, a touch sensitive keyboard is provided that has a touchpad area separate from the keyboard keys. The keyboard is configured to disabled touchpad sensitivity when certain touch signals are received. In another embodiment, a touch sensitive keyboard is used as a controller. In a controller mode, keys on a touch sensitive keyboard are adapted to output a signal strength corresponding to a distance between the key and a finger operating as a control. In an embodiment, a touch sensitive keyboard includes a processor adapted to output a keystroke in response to one of the plurality of touch sensitive keys being pressed, and to output one or more touch points determined by interpolating signal strength for each of the plurality of touch sensitive keys on the keyboard.

An inverse recommender system for detecting out-of-pattern payment transactions includes a memory device and a processor programmed to receive transaction data. The transaction data corresponds to historical payment transactions between account holders and merchants. The processor is programmed to generate a merchant correspondence matrix including the merchants and counters indicating the number of historical payment transactions between merchant pairs of the merchants and the account holders. The processor is programmed to store the merchant correspondence matrix in a memory device linking the merchant pairs to each account holder. The processor receives additional transaction data associated with a new payment transaction between an account holder and a merchant, and to generate an inverse recommender score for the new payment transaction based on the account holder's historical payment transaction data. The account holder's historical payment transaction data includes historical payment transaction data associated with the merchants visited by the account holder.
