The invention relates to a transportation means, a user interface and a method for overlapping the display of display contents of a user interface of a transportation means. The method comprises the steps: displaying first display contents on a first display device of the transportation means; picking up a pre-defined user entry with respect to the first display contents and in response thereto; extending a first surface associated with the first display contents on a second display device of the transportation means.

INPUT DEVICE
20230168750 · 2023-06-01 ·

The invention relates to an input device, in particular for an electronic unit, preferably for a game controller, comprising an actuation element for the actuation of the input device by a user, having an actuation section accessible from outside the input device, wherein the actuation element can be brought into multiple actuation positions, which define an actuation range, by the user. Here, the actuation element can be displaced into the actuation positions by displacement in one or more displacement directions, which in particular lie substantially in a displacement plane. The input device furthermore comprises electronic position detection means which directly or indirectly detect an instantaneous actuation position of the actuation element. According to the invention, the actuation element is guided, linearly movably in an instantaneous stroke direction that is oriented perpendicular to a respectively instantaneous displacement direction, in the input device, and a control device is provided, by means of which, during a displacement of the actuation element in the actuation range in the one or more displacement directions, a stroke movement of the actuation element in the instantaneous stroke direction is controllable or controlled in a manner dependent on the displacement of the actuation element.

Stylus-based slider functionality for UI control of computing device

Techniques are disclosed for interacting with a computing device using a stylus. The stylus is configured with a slider control feature that can be activated to perform various actions while the stylus is touching or is otherwise sufficiently proximate to a stylus detection surface of the device. The slider function can be associated with a variety of tasks on the computing device such as: adjusting variables, executing a particular command, switching between tools, modifying a particular tool's settings, and launching an application. In some embodiments, the stylus-based slider is biased to return to a middle, or home, position thereby allowing for both forward and backward sliding actions. An appropriate animation or sound or haptic response can also be provided that may be indicative of or otherwise related to the action being taken.

X-ray analyzer

A fluorescent X-ray analyzer includes a sample stage, an X-ray source that irradiates a sample with primary X-rays, a detector that detects secondary X-rays generated from the sample, a position adjustment mechanism that adjusts relative positions of the sample stage and the primary X-rays, an observation mechanism that obtains an observation image of the sample, and a computer having a display unit and an input unit. The computer has a function of, in response to a pointer being moved from a central region of the observation screen to a certain position by dragging the input unit while maintaining a state in which an input element of the input unit is held, moving the sample stage in a movement direction and at a movement speed corresponding to a direction and a distance of the certain position relative to the central region.

A touch-sensitive vehicle display device is disclosed. The touch-sensitive vehicle display device comprises a body having a display including a touch panel on a surface thereof, whereby a screen operation is performed on the surface of the display by a touch-screen operation; an operation plate provided along the surface of the display; and a controller controlling information to be indicated on the display. The operation plate includes an opening section to indicate a switch provided to face the touch panel, and a plurality of touch-sensitive switch-confirmation portions provided on an end portion of the opening section for switch indication, and the controller controls a switch-indication portion to be inside the opening section to indicate switching in the display, and controls a plurality of selection-switches to be in the switch-indication portion to correspond to the plurality of switch-confirmation portions.

Force feedback system including multi-tasking graphical host environment and interface device

A force feedback system provides components for use in a force feedback system including a host computer and a force feedback interface device. An architecture for a host computer allows multi-tasking application programs to interface with the force feedback device without conflicts, where a single active application may output forces. A background application also provides force effects to be output and allows a user to assign force effects to graphical objects in a graphical user interface. Force feedback effects and structures are further described, such as events and enclosures.

INPUT DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING USER INPUT
