Display device
A display device capable of reducing a non-display area includes a substrate hole surrounded by light emitting elements, and a moisture penetration preventing layer disposed between an inner dam surrounded by the light emitting elements and the substrate hole. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent damage to light emitting stacks caused by external moisture or oxygen. Since the substrate hole is disposed within an active area, a reduction in non-display area is achieved.

Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to pictograms as digitally recognizable tangible controls. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a user system can include a processing component and a memory component. The memory component can include instructions of a pictogram digitization module. The user system can capture, via a camera component, an image containing a pictogram that is a digitally recognizable tangible manifestation of a digital control. The user system can determine, via the pictogram digitization module, the digital control associated with the pictogram. The user system can implement, via the pictogram digitization module, the digital control. The digital control can include a digital content, an action, or a context. The user system can create, via the pictogram digitization module, a digital interface that includes the digital control. In some embodiments, the pictogram includes a formal pictogram. In other embodiments, the pictogram includes an informal pictogram.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus obtains input of additional information to a two-dimensional virtual viewpoint image based on a virtual viewpoint and a three-dimensional virtual space, converts the input additional information into an object arranged at a three-dimensional position in the virtual space, and displays, on a display, the virtual viewpoint image based on the virtual space in which the object is arranged at the three-dimensional position.
Information processing device that projects drawing information according to ratio of distances, information processing method, and recording medium
An information processing device comprising a projection control unit that controls projection of drawing information, the projection being performed by a projection device, on a basis of ratio information between a first distance and a second distance, the first distance being acquired from sensing information regarding a drawing tool and being from a reference point to the drawing tool, and the second distance being from the reference point to an intersection point between a straight line connecting the reference point with the drawing tool and a calibration plane.
Processing video including a physical writing surface
A method of processing of a sequence of video frames from a camera capturing a writing surface for subsequent transmission to at least one of a remote videoconferencing client and a remote videoconferencing server. The method comprises receiving the sequence of video frames from the camera; and selecting an image area of interest in the video frames, comprising selecting one of a sub-area of the video frames and an entire area of the video frames. The method also comprises, for each current video frame of the sequence of video frames, generating a pen stroke mask by applying adaptive thresholding to the image area of interest. The method also comprises generating an output video frame using the pen stroke mask. Corresponding systems and computer readable media are disclosed.
INPUT LOCATION CORRECTION BASED ON DEVICE MOTION
An electronic device includes a housing, a display at least partially within the housing, a cover positioned over the display and defining an input surface of the electronic device, a motion sensing system configured to detect a motion of the electronic device, and a touch sensor configured to detect, within a time window after the motion of the electronic device is detected, a contact of an input member of a user on the input surface of the electronic device. The electronic device is configured to determine, for a time prior to the detection of the contact, a relative motion between the input member and the input surface. In accordance with a determination that a characteristic of the relative motion satisfies a threshold condition, the electronic device may determine a second input location based at least in part on the location of the contact and the relative motion.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING A READING AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A USER INPUT USING THE SAME
Disclosed are a reading support apparatus which can detect a user input (touch and/or drag) conducted on a real book by using one camera, and a user input detection method using the same. The reading support apparatus sets a finger and/or nail on a target surface image captured through one camera to touch recognition reference, detects, as a user input, a user's touch or drag conducted on the surface of the real book by comparing the finger and/or nail included in the target surface image to the touch recognition reference, and provides an action corresponding to the user input.
WEARING DETECTION TECHNIQUES FOR WEARABLE DEVICES
Methods, systems, and devices for wearing detection are described. A method may include directing light from a first light emitting element to a first light detecting element via an optical interface, at least one of the first light emitting element or the first light detecting element dedicated to detecting a level of surface contact at the optical interface. The method may include measuring, via the first light detecting element, an amount of escaped light which escaped the optical interface, where the amount of escaped light is indicative of the level of surface contact. The method may further include controlling an activation of a second light emitting element and a second light detecting element based on the level of surface contact, at least one of the second light emitting element or the second light detecting element dedicated to measuring a physiological phenomenon at a user of the wearable device.
Lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus with an image-projecting function that is convenient for a user is provided. It includes: an illuminating unit that emits illumination light; a projection-type image display unit that emits image-projecting emission light for projecting an image; and a sensor that emits operation-detecting light for operation detection and that is capable of detecting an operation by an operation object in a range including an image projection area of the projection-type image display unit, and is configured so that the image-projecting light, and the operation-detecting emission light have respective different wavelength distribution characteristics, and regarding a light amount in the wavelength range of light used by the sensor for the operation detection, a light amount of the operation-detecting light is the largest among those of the illumination light, the image-projecting emission light, and the operation-detecting light.
OPERATION JUDGMENT METHOD FOR INTERACTIVE TOUCH SYSTEM
An operation judgment method for an interactive touch system, which is applied by a first electronic device in cooperation with a second electronic device. The first electronic device receives a projected image from the second electronic device. The projected image is displayed on a display surface of the first electronic device. The operation judgment method includes steps S1 to S3. Step S1 generates a plurality of touch feature information corresponding to a plurality of touchpoints according to a touch action. Each touch feature information includes a plurality of eigenvalues, and the touch feature information is stored in a touch register module, wherein the first touch feature information of each touch action is the initial touchpoint. Step S2 sequentially analyzes the touch feature information to generate a first command or a second command. Step performs a corresponding operation according to the first command or the second command.
