Detection method and driving circuit thereof
A detection method for a touch device includes transmitting a first uplink signal conforming to a first protocol of a first active stylus and transmitting a second uplink signal conforming to a second protocol of a second active stylus. A chronological sequence of the first uplink signal and the second uplink signal is based at least in part on whether the first active stylus or the second active stylus has just left a detection range of the touch device.
Touch-and-display device operated with active stylus
A touch-and-display device operated with an active stylus is provided. A touch position is detected in a touch detection period. An uplink signal is transmitted and a downlink signal is detected in a stylus detection period. When the downlink signal is detected, it is determined if a distance between a stylus position and the touch position is less than or equal to a first predetermined distance. A stylus mode is not entered if the determination result is affirmative.
ELECTRONIC PEN AND CORE BODY FOR ELECTRONIC PEN
An electronic pen includes a cylindrical housing including an opening on one end of the housing in an axial direction of the housing, a core body attached inside of the housing such that an end of the core body protrudes from the opening on the one end of the housing, and a signal generation circuit which, in operation, generates a signal that is transmitted from the core body. The core body includes a core rod that is conductive and a protection member. The core rod includes a front portion that protrudes from the opening on the one end of the housing, a back portion, and an intermediate portion between the front portion and the back portion. The intermediate portion has a tapered shape narrowing from the front portion toward the back portion. The core rod receives the signal from the signal generation circuit. The protection member covers a side surface of the intermediate portion of the core rod.
Position indicator
A single position indicator that can be used with a plurality of different types of position detection systems. The position indicator includes a communication circuit which, in operation, communicates with an outer device, a configuration circuit which, in operation, performs an initial setting process based on a signal from the outer device, a signal generation circuit which, in operation, generates a stylus position signal, and a control circuit. The control circuit, in operation, controls transmission of the stylus position signal based on an initial setting of at least one switch circuit that is set by the initial setting process performed by the configuration circuit, and controls reception of a signal received from the outer device via the communication circuit.
Display device and a sensing system including the same
A display device including: a display unit having a plurality of pixels; a plurality of touch electrodes disposed on the display unit; a touch line connected to a first end of each of the plurality of touch electrodes; a common voltage line spaced apart from the plurality of touch electrodes; and a plurality of switching elements connected between the common voltage line and a second end of each of the plurality of touch electrodes.
METHOD FOR DETECTING ACTIVE PEN TOUCH POSITION, AND ELECTRONIC TERMINAL
A method for detecting an active pen touch position, and an electronic terminal are provided. When a touch position of an active pen on a screen of an electronic terminal is detected, and once a first touch position of the active pen on the screen of the electronic terminal is detected based on downlink signals collected by sensors under the screen of the electronic terminal, sensors outside a first preset region including the first touch position are disabled, where sensors in the first preset region are still in a working mode. In addition, a quantity of sensors in the first preset region is less than a quantity of sensors under the screen of the electronic terminal. In this way, when a second touch position of the active pen on the screen of the electronic terminal is subsequently determined, downlink signals sent by the active pen are collected only by using the sensors in the first preset region, instead of always by using all sensors under the screen of the electronic terminal, so that detection flexibility is improved.
STYLUS COMMUNICATING WITH A DEVICE
Styluses, methods for communicating by a stylus with a device, and input systems including the device and the stylus are described. In an example, a stylus includes a first electrode for transmitting a first signal to the device, a second electrode used for transmitting a second signal to the device, and a third electrode used for receiving a third signal from the device. The first electrode is located at a tip portion of the stylus. The second electrode is located apart from the first electrode.
METHOD CARRIED OUT IN SYSTEM INCLUDING ACTIVE STYLUS AND SENSOR CONTROLLER, SENSOR CONTROLLER, AND ACTIVE STYLUS
A sensor controller includes a transmitter configured to transmit an uplink signal including a first partial signal and a second partial signal. The transmitter is configured to transmit the first partial signal by direct spreading using a first spread code and transmit the second partial signal by direct spreading using a second spread code which is different from the first spread code and which has an identical chip time length to the first spread code. An active stylus includes a receiver configured to receive an uplink signal including a first partial signal and a second partial signal. The receiver is configured to synchronize with the uplink signal by detecting the first partial signal using a first spread code and thereafter detect the second partial signal using a second spread code, which is different from the first spread code and has an identical chip time length to the first spread code.
Transmitter and controlling method thereof
A transmitter is provided by the present application. The transmitter comprises a first element, configured to receive signal with a first frequency group, wherein first impedance value of the first element is changed according to a force, a second element with a second frequency group, and a tip section, configured to receive outputs of the first and the second elements and to transmit an electric signal, wherein the tip section is used to receive the force.
