The selection unit totalizes a printing count of each content included in the content group for a plurality of users, and selects the content to be printed from the content group based on the totalized printing count. The selection unit may select the content to be printed from the content group based on an attribute applicable to a user. The printing device receives the print data and performs printing according to the print data.

A method for evaluating a print quality of a printed document that is printed by a printer is provided. The printer comprises a pre-print image scanner, a post-print image scanner, and a printhead disposed between the pre-print image scanner and the post-print image scanner. The method comprises generating a pre-printing image of a print media, generating the printed document, generating a post-printing image of the printed document, generating a validation image by comparing the post-printing image with the pre-printing image, and comparing the validation image with the source image.

That the imaging device knows the quick response code, the imaging device accesses and prints the file on media for the user.

A method of printing content requested from a mobile device, comprising receiving a print request and encrypted print content, receiving a decryption key from the mobile device, decrypting the encrypted print content, and printing the decrypted print content.
