The invention relates to a method for cosmetically treating dark spots on the skin, wherein said method is intended for eliminating at least one of said dark spots located in a region of the hand, the face, the limbs or the chest area of a person suffering from such skin hyperpigmentation, characterised in that said method includes a step of applying a spray of cryogenic fluid to said region, which brings the skin temperature to a temperature of between −4° C. and −15° C. for a consecutive application period of from 2 to 10 seconds, in order to selectively act on the melanocytes, and to a device for carrying out said method.

HAIRSPRAY FORMULATIONS FOR HFO PROPELLANTS

The present disclosure provides a formulation comprising a fluoroolefin, an amine neutralizer, a fixative polymer, and a solvent. The formulation may be trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze(E)), and the amine neutralizer may be triethanolamine (TEA), triisopropanolamine (TIPA), or a mixture thereof. The formulation may be suitable for use as a personal care product, such as a hair spray.

ANTISEPTIC SOLUTIONS AND APPLICATORS

An antiseptic solution comprising a pH-dependent antimicrobial agent, the pH-dependent antimicrobial agent having an operative pH range, wherein the solution has a pH on storage that is lower than the operative pH range. Applicators for applying the antiseptic solution and methods of using the antiseptic solution and applicators are also provided.

Methods and compositions for topical delivery of prostaglandins to subcutaneous fat

Described herein are compositions comprising a prostaglandin FP receptor agonist (PFPRA) compound and a fatty acid, e.g., oleic acid, that, when topically applied to the skin, locally delivers a therapeutically effective amount of the PFPRA compound or active metabolite thereof to subcutaneous fat under the skin. The therapeutic effect is, for example, reduction of the subcutaneous fat under the skin. Further provided are methods of reducing body fat in a subject comprising topically administering the composition to the subject. The present invention also provides kits comprising the composition and instructions for use.

POLYMERIZABLE COMPOUND AND OPTICALLY ANISOTROPIC BODY

The present invention provides a polymerizable compound that reduces, for example, the likelihood of crystals precipitating in a polymerizable composition including the polymerizable compound and enables the polymerizable composition to have high preservation stability and a polymerizable composition including the polymerizable compound which reduces the likelihood of inconsistencies being formed in a film-like polymer produced by polymerizing the polymerizable composition. Also provided are a polymer-produced by polymerizing the polymerizable composition and an optically anisotropic body including the polymer. The present invention provides the compound represented by General Formula (I), a composition including the compound, a polymer produced by polymerizing the composition, and an optically anisotropic body including the polymer.
