Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for accurately detecting, by an electronic device, that a tray for loading a SIM card is detached. An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a tray for loading a SIM card; a first processor electrically connected to the tray; and a second processor electrically connected to the first processor, wherein the first processor is configured to transfer a pre-event to the second processor when a detachment event for the tray is detected, and the second processor is configured to identify, in each designated period, whether the SIM card is erroneous; and delay identification of whether the SIM card is erroneous, in response to reception of the pre-event. The present invention may further include various other embodiments.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING ERRORS IN LOCAL AREA NETWORK

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing error detection in a network, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing error and/or fault detection in a network and/or media stream and providing options to address the error and/or fault in the network and/or media stream. In various embodiments, a computer might detect an error in a first network and send a notification indicating that the error has occurred. The notification might contain one or more options to address the error in the first network. The computer, a user device, a service provider device, or a content provider device might receive and display the notification containing the one or more options. The computer, the user device, the service provider device, or the content provider device might then select at least one of the one or more options to address the error in the first network.

A CCI (I3C SDR) processing section determines status of an index when requested to be accessed by an I3C master for a read operation. An error handling section then controls an I3C slave 13 to detect occurrence of an error based on the status of the index and to neglect all communication until communication is restarted or stopped by the I3C master, the I3C slave 13 being further controlled to send a NACK response when performing acknowledge processing on a signal sent from the I3C master. This technology can be applied to the I3C bus, for example.

Apparatus and methods related to recovering a computing device are provided. A computing device can determine that the computing device has entered into a corrupted state after being initialized at least a pre-determined number of times during a pre-determined interval of time. The computing device can store at least system data and information about a plurality of changes to the system data. After determining that the computing device has entered into the corrupted state, the computing device can identify untrusted changes to the system data from the plurality of changes, wherein the untrusted changes are made by untrusted entities. The computing device can reset the untrusted changes to the system data to default values. After resetting the untrusted changes to the system data to default values, the computing device can be initialized.

TERMINAL DEVICE TROUBLESHOOTING METHOD AND TERMINAL DEVICE

This application relates to the field of terminal technologies, and provides a terminal device troubleshooting method and a terminal device, so as to improve accuracy of a result of detecting a fault such as a black screen, or screen freezing that occurs on a terminal device. The troubleshooting method includes: obtaining, a first operation and a first result; determining that the first operation is the same as a predefined second operation and that the first result is a fault result; and when the first operation is the same as the second operation, and the first result is a fault result, determining that an actual fault occurs on a terminal device, where the first operation is an operation currently performed by a user on the terminal device, and the first result is a result of responding by the terminal device to the first operation.
