BRASSIERE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A brassiere includes a first cup and a second cup, a center bridge attaching the first cup to the second cup, and a first wing attached to the first cup, and a second wing attached to the second cup. The brassiere includes first and second cup fasteners attached to the first cup and positioned at respective first and second lateral locations, a first wing fastener attached to the first wing, and a first strap detachably connected to the first cup fastener at one end and connected to the first wing fastener at the other end, such that the first strap can be moved from a first arrangement to a second arrangement by detaching the first strap from the first cup fastener and then attaching the first strap to the second cup fastener.
ENCASEMENT FOR ELECTROADHESIVE CLUTCH
An article of apparel can include or use an electroadhesive clutch device. The device can include an elongate encasing for a first electrode assembly and a second electrode assembly each having a respective first and second electrode. The first and second electrodes can be at least partially overlapping and configured to slide or move relative to each other. The device can include an electrical signal generator configured to provide first and second signals to the first and second electrode assemblies, respectively, wherein the first electrode assembly is configured to slide laterally relative to the second electrode assembly when the first and second signals are not applied, and is configured to remain static relative to the second electrode assembly when the first and second signals are applied. The apparel can include a textile material to which the encasing is attached at least at a first end of the encasing.
INTERFACE FOR ELECTROADHESIVE SYSTEM AND TEXTILE
An electroadhesive clutch can be coupled to a textile. The clutch can include a first electrode assembly comprising a first conductive member, and a second electrode assembly comprising a second conductive member overlaying in part the first conductive member. In an example, the clutch includes or uses an elastic encasing within which the first and second electrode assemblies are positioned. The elastic encasing can form a first bond with the first conductive member at a first location of the elastic encasing and a second bond with the second conductive member proximate a second location of the elastic encasing different than the first location.
MINIMIZING BULK CHARGE IN AN ELECTROADHESIVE ACTUATOR
An electroadhesive clutch device can include a first electrode assembly comprising a first conductive portion that is at least partially covered by a first dielectric insulator, a second electrode assembly comprising a second conductive portion that is at least partially covered by a second dielectric insulator, and an electrical signal generator configured to provide first and second signals to the first and second conductive portions of the electrode assemblies, respectively. The first and second electrode assemblies can be at least partially overlapping and configured to slide relative to each other at respective surfaces that comprise the first and second dielectric insulators.
APPAREL WITH CONTROLLABLE DISPLACEMENT SYSTEM
A support garment can include a textile layer forming a supportive region and configured to adjustably permit or inhibit displacement of a body part of the wearer that is positioned adjacent or proximate the supportive region. The garment can include an electroadhesive clutch device to help control displacement. In an example, the garment includes an underwear garment or a portion thereof.
Upper torso body garment with adjustable bridge system
A garment adapted for wearing around a torso of a human body. The garment may include a first and second brassiere cups, a first and second side panel wings attached to the outermost edge of the cups to support the peripheral sides of the breast and armpits. An adjustable bridge system containing a mechanism that allows the wearer of a bra, swimsuit, or similar foundation garment to adjust the distance between the cups or breast coverings.
GARMENT
One or more embodiments of a garment including a first frontal panel, a second frontal panel, a back panel, and shoulder strap connectors are included. The first frontal panel includes a first portion of a first decoupleable shoulder strap. The second frontal panel includes a first portion of a second decoupleable shoulder strap. The back panel includes second portions of the first decoupleable shoulder strap and the second decoupleable shoulder strap. The second portion of the first decoupleable shoulder strap includes a first extension and the second portion of the second decoupleable shoulder strap includes a second extension. The shoulder strap connectors are configured to connect the first portion of the first decoupleable shoulder strap to the second portion of the first decoupleable shoulder strap and the first portion of the second decoupleable shoulder strap to the second portion of the second decoupleable shoulder strap.
Garment
The undergarment may include a multi-panel front construction in order to minimize the prominence of breast buds, nipples, and even mature breast tissue without sports bra-like compression. The garments are uniquely designed to maximize comfort with their super-soft external material and to maximize self-esteem with their unique inner front panel. The interior front panel is constructed from a different material than the external layers.
Strap adjustable brassiere
A strap adjustable brassiere has straps that are slidably engaged with a band rail extending along the wing band and/or a cup rail extending along the cup. The wing band rail extends in an incline from a side position toward the center back position and this enables the straps to be slid from one position to another along the band rail without changing the length of the straps. Likewise, the cup rail extends at an incline from a side location toward the center front location to allow the strap to slide along the cup rail without changing the length of the strap. The rail may be a bulbous extension from the wing band and the strap slider, cup or band, may have a cavity that extends around the rail to provide a slidable engagement.
Adjustable cup and band bralette
An adjustable bralette for supporting breasts of a wearer of the bralette includes: first and second cups each having a pointed top apex and a lower portion having a wraparound support portion; and an adjustable support band. The adjustable support band has: adjustable straps comprising a slidable length adjuster, each of the straps being connected, at one end, to one pointed top apex of one of the cups, and an adjustable length lower support band portion arranged at the lower portion of the first and second cups and wrapping at least partially around the wearer.
