System, Device, Product, Apparatus, and Method for Reading Syringe Information
A reader includes a first antenna, a second antenna spaced apart from the first antenna, an RFID reader circuit, and a processor. The first antenna and the second antenna are connected to the RFID reader circuit. The first antenna is configured to receive a first signal from an RFID tag. The second antenna is configured to receive a second signal from the RFID tag. The processor controls the RFID reader circuit to determine a first value of a signal parameter associated with the RFID tag based on the first signal and a second value of the signal parameter associated with the RFID tag based on the second signal, receives, from the RFID reader circuit, the first value and the second value, and determines, based on the first value and the second value, whether the RFID tag is located between the first antenna and the second antenna.
RFID system and method
An RFID system includes an RFID antenna assembly configured to be positioned on a product module assembly of a processing system. The product module assembly is configured to releasably engage at least one product container. A first RFID tag assembly configured to be positioned on the at least one product container. The at least one product container is configured to position the first RFID tag assembly within a detection zone of the RFID antenna assembly whenever the product module assembly releasably engages the at least one product container.
METHOD FOR EXTENDING THE RANGE OF COMMERCIAL PASSIVE RFID ELEMENTS
A system that exploits collaboration between a plurality of spatially distributed RFID readers to enhance the range of commercial passive RFID tags, without alteration to the tags. The system uses distributed MIMO to coherently combine signals across geographically separated RFID readers. It is capable of inferring the optimal beamforming parameters to beam energy to a tag without any initial knowledge of the location or orientation of the tags.
WIRELESS TAG SYSTEM, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT METHOD
A wireless tag system includes: a tag signal antenna configured to receive a tag signal transmitted from a wireless transmission tag; and a communication area shaping antenna configured to transmit a reception area shaping signal for narrowing an area in which the tag signal antenna can communicate with the wireless transmission tag, wherein the tag signal antenna and the communication area shaping antenna are arranged for each prescribed product unit in a group of products that are arranged.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MEDIA FOR MULTI-ANTENNA, DIRECTIONAL BACKSCATTER TAGS
Backscatter tags, comprising: antennas; single pole, multiple throw switches each switch (S) having pole terminal connected to one of the antennas, and each having first throw terminal (TT) connected to first side (FS) of inductor (I) for S, second TT connected to FS of capacitor (C) for S, third TT connected to fixed voltage level (FVL), fourth TT that is floating, wherein second side (SS) of I and SS of C are connected to the FVL; power combiner (PC) having inputs connected to fifth TT of each of two of the switches; power detector (PD) having an input connected to output of PC; analog to digital converter (ADC) having input connected to output of PD; hardware processor coupled to output of the ADC and coupled to control terminal of each of the switches.
Data collector for use in monitoring a lyophilisation process of a product in a test product container in a lyophilisation chamber, corresponding system comprising the data collector, and use of data collector
A data collector for use in monitoring a lyophilisation process of a product in a test product container in a lyophilisation chamber, said data collector comprising a battery, a measuring device including an electronics unit and a sensor configured for being arranged in said test product container, a first compartment in a first portion, a second compartment in a second portion, a first end surface configured for resting on the support surface, and a second end surface opposite to the first end surface, wherein said first and second portions are arranged side-by-side when seen in a plane defined by the first end surface, and wherein the battery is housed in the first compartment and the electronics unit of the measuring device is housed in the second compartment, such that the battery and the electronics unit are separate from each other.
WIRELESS TAG SYSTEM AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION AREA SHAPING METHOD
A wireless tag system including a tag signal antenna configured to receive a tag signal transmitted from a wireless transmission tag; and a communication area shaping antenna configured to transmit a reception area shaping signal for narrowing an area in which the tag signal antenna can communicate with the wireless transmission tag.
Multipurpose RFID transponder and a system for reading it
A magnetic field induction coupled RFID system for scanning and reading at least one object having an RFID tag or inlay label device attached or embedded therein to impart a unique identity to each of the objects. The RFID tag has two distinct modes of air interface protocol operation, such that the tag is capable of being read at close proximity range by a device utilizing a command-and-control protocol, such as an NFC-protocol compatible smartphone or similarly functioning device, and alternatively by an RFID reader utilizing a different protocol capable of supporting efficient high-speed anti-collision features for enabling fast inventorying at item level of retail store items, warehousing, customs and logistics operations over considerably greater interrogation distances, where both protocols utilize substantially the same carrier frequency.
READING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR READING INFORMATION FROM RFID TAG BY THE SAME
A reading apparatus includes an antenna, provided under a placing surface on which a placing area is formed. The antenna is configured to radiate radio waves capable of communicating with an RFID tag attached to a commodity placed in the placing area on the placing surface. The apparatus includes a moving module configured to move the antenna in the placing area in parallel with the placing surface, a detector configured to detect a position of the antenna within the placing area, a change module configured to change an output of the antenna according to the position of the antenna detected by the detector, and a reading module configured to read information from the RFID tag via the antenna.
